Miles and Ashley met in Los Angeles on a party bus organized by a mutual friend in September 2009. After meeting and realizing they both recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, they exchanged information and Ashley later asked Miles to play guitar in her band. They began performing and writing music together and quickly became close friends. After years of friendship (and many unofficial dates), they started dating.

Ashley and Miles had their first date at one of their favorite restaurants, C & O Trattoria on the Pier in Venice, CA. During dinner hours, the whole restaurant joins together to sing, “That’s Amore,” the waiters fill their cups with chianti, and come to each table to cheers with the diners. On the night of their engagement, Miles took Ashley back to the Venice Pier where he proposed on the beach under the stars. Afterward, they walked to C & O Trattoria for dinner to celebrate their engagement, once again singing “That’s Amore." 8 years, 1 puppy, and 2 apartments later they are so excited to celebrate their marriage with you!
