Hi, I'm Catey, the creator of West Mint Media. We are a wedding videography company based in North Carolina. I was born & raised in Charlotte. I earned my bachelor's degree in 2011 from UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Media & Journalism with a specialization in Broadcast & Video Journalism. I have 11+ years of experience in video production, and I have been filming & editing weddings since 2014. I am also a commercially licensed drone pilot. My husband Curtis and I currently reside in Cramerton, a suburb west of Charlotte near Belmont. We have a 9 year old West Highland White Terrier named Kevin who we bring along on lots of outdoor adventures!

ValCinema Weddings was founded in 2017 by two people with a passion for making wedding videos with a cinematic feel available within the SouthEastern regional area. Fast forward to 4 years later, and ValCinema is now a fast growing, full-service wedding videography and photography business with the goal to make beautiful story-driven, cinematic wedding films available to everyone across the United States. Our journey began in January 2021 with one member, myself, Jonathon Miller, as the owner. My name is Caitie Kalawsky and I am a filmmaker based in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm not a big fan of the overly-staged, dramatic, and prompted styles; instead I create films that are authentic to who you are and what your love story represents. I am passionate about giving my clients and couples a great experience from inquiry to delivery, and enjoy making friends along the way.
