With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

Amaris Trio is a wedding classical music ensemble operating out of Reston, Virginia. Consisting of Shearom on violin, Ryan on cello, and Stephanie on piano, this award-winning trio brings over a decade of performance experience to every occasion. My team of DJs and I truly appreciate it. A little background on who I am and what sets Frederick DJs apart from the rest. Starting as a DJ as a kid, yes, a kid of only 14! I took a huge interest in the entertainment industry. It started a little before then, but that’s when I got into DJing. I fell in love with playing music for others while working at a roller-skating rink. (Wisconsin Sk8 University) I later moved on from the roller rink where I became a DJ assistant for a solo DJ who specialized in weddings. Let’s just day that gave me a whole new love for the job.
