Photography, for me, is all about people. And I LOVE people. As a documentary photographer, I pay attention to the connections among people at events and make images that show the emotion, the connection, and the meaning of the moments I capture. But more than just loving photography, I've photographed hundreds of weddings over the years I've been in business and am constantly told by my clients how helpful, knowledgeable, and calming I am in moments that are new to my clients. And with a Masters in Photojournalism, I'm not new to this.

Growing up I was always the one behind the camera! It was just natural for me to make it into a business. I started with families, then moved to maternity and newborns and now working with weddings. Being able to capture a couples special day is such an honor and one I don't take lightly. I love producing wedding galleries that couples can look at and relive their big day for years to come!

I'm Erika, born and raise in Italy! and for that I love to travel to my hometown as much as I can. I moved in USA in 2012 and I love capturing your raw emotions in the most stunning settings. I'm super outdoorsy, I love my hubby and my puppies... I believe in real connection and I think we must really like each other, because I'll be in your face all day, on your wedding day! My excited, caring and spunky with a side of ‘hell yeah’ personality makes people feel comfortable, protected and loved. I meet people, hug them within seconds and it’s not awkward. Also, catch me slingin' jokes and dancing while I work or just on a Tuesday. I started my business three years ago, since then I've captured 102 weddings and over 200 couples, I can't image doing anything else! I’m married to Alex, love of my life, cat-doggy daddy, and muse. We fell in love after I called him a loser the moment we met. Since then we've lived in Hawaii, traveled the world and added two fur babies!

After my first year of college studying music, I decided to take the business route. I worked for several Fortune 500 businesses and even some start-ups. Photography initially started as a hobby but it slowly became a passion as I developed a growing desire to serve others instead of quarterly sales goals. Studying various genres of photography allowed me to discover wedding & portrait photography - and the rest is history! From Washington DC to your destination event, my specialties include weddings, engagement sessions, and portrait photography.

After making my mark in the corporate field crafting engagement content I began covering local events for The Free Lance-Star where I still occasionally freelance. I have been shooting weddings for the last couple years and I love every minute of it! I am a hawk for real moments of love, feeling, and joy.
