Tipsy Tulip Designs was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the moment I reached out, Emily was so very helpful. She was unable to deliver to my wedding location which was two hours away, but volunteered to meet me at one of the venues I was touring near her location to deliver my bouquet. I didn't know Vermont very well, so I really appreciated her going the extra mile. The flowers Tipsy Tulip Designs provided were absolutely beautiful and fresh. They truly helped make our special day even more beautiful with their stunning arrangements. Current and future Vermont brides listen closely as you wouldn’t want to miss out on the best wedding day flowers of your life! I honestly looked around for ages trying to find the perfect florist that fit within our budget (yes P.S. she is incredibly affordable and honestly for the stunning flowers she created I feel she needs to charge more!). After receiving a number of proposals and ideas from other local florists I had almost given up on finding just what I wanted and then I happened upon Blossoming Bough on Instagram and saw some of her gorgeous work and reached out to her, thinking most likely she would be fully booked, thankfully our wedding was on a week day and she was available, boy am I glad now I did reach out to her! Eva created the most beautiful wedding day for us. To say she is the best, most talented, phenomenal florist is an understatement. From the moment I received my first email from her to the final flower arrangements she did for us after the wedding, I knew our wedding was in good hands. Trying to coordinate everything for our wedding from Bermuda was a huge challenge but Eva made it so simple. From her consistent but not pushy communication, her gorgeous hand written note to thank us for choosing her even before the wedding, to her beautiful flower proposal, to her gentle artistic nudge in the right direction whilst still listening wholeheartedly to our vision, she just took all the worry out of our wedding flowers. It was so easy for me to just let go of that part of our wedding and let Eva’s artistic vision work wonders, which it did and then some. She not only created some stunning rehearsal dinner arrangements using some of the venues decor to make everything stand out beautifully, but she also created absolute magic when it came to our vision of what we wanted, a fall freshly picked garden vibe, as if fairies had been out collecting all night just for us. Which I honestly believe Eva was up all night creating our beautiful day. Everything from our uniquely requested circular boutonnières, the gorgeous flower girl crowns and flower wreaths for them to carry, my stunning bouquet, the beautifully decorated arbor, to the table settings and more. She even created a beautiful warm glow with her own candles, sourcing the perfect battery operated ones when we found out our venue would not allow real candles. It was so easy with Eva right from the start I had a collection of Pinterest photos and I tangled up version of a vision that I wanted but Eva blew it out of the water even knowing what flowers or dried pieces would work perfectly in the middle of a cold windy fall day in Vermont. All throughout the process Eva helped me incorporate meaningful touches to our wedding day flowers, from planting in her own garden some bunny tail grass because I call my husband bunny, sourcing some hard to find rosemary to make mini name place wreaths for our guests, to attaching our beautiful photo charms of family that had passed to my bouquet so I could carry their memory down the aisle with me. After the ceremony she meticulously took everything down, saving as many fresh flowers as she could to make sweet little flower arrangements that we requested so that we could donate them to a local nursing home. If you want someone who will take your dreams and make them a reality, look no further then Eva at Blossoming Bough! We can not recommend her enough!

June Farm

Burlington, VT
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Vermont

We specialize in organically styled weddings and events of all sizes, using only flowers that we grow or forage from our Burlington 5+ acre farm. Our approach embraces the beauty of big flowering branches, woody shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers, all artfully combined with our seasonal farm-grown favorites like Lisianthus, Dahlias, Ranunculus, Cosmos, and Sweet Peas. We prioritize showcasing what each season offers, helping clients to connect their unique celebrations to the essence of that time of year. There is a distinct beauty in flowers that bloom in their natural season, and we are committed to highlighting that in our designs.

June Farm was the perfect florist for our wedding. They had great communication throughout the process, responding promptly to all of my messages and requests. The bouquets and arrangements they created had an earthy, garden-style look that was exactly what I was envisioning. I shared my ideas with them, and they were able to take those and make the floral decor even more beautiful than I had imagined. Their natural, organic style was a beautiful complement to our wedding day. I highly recommend June Farm!

Nectar & Root

Morrisville, VT
  • Serves Vermont

Floral designs that feel alive and make your heart flutter. Creating floral art for weddings in Vermont and beyond. Booking 2024 and 2025. Seasonal ingredients, sculptural and ikebana inspired botanical art for your day.

I'm a wedding photographer, and when one of my clients tells me they've chosen Nectar & Root for their florist I let them know they've made the best decision- not only will they be in good hands with someone who is reliable and effectively gets the job done, but their space will be transformed in the most beautiful and unique way. I'm also a hobby cut flower gardener who spends lots of time looking for new and interesting varieties and Erin and I have connected over the past four years- sharing seedlings and advice. Erin always finds the most beautiful and unusual varieties and grows them in her garden, then utilizes them in her wedding bouquets. She also knows how much I love photographing her work and will give myself (and other photographers too!) an extra centerpiece to bring around to different backgrounds at the venue and create a beautiful work of art together for our clients to enjoy. Erin and I worked a multi-day event in Stowe this past year that was the biggest event I had ever photographed, and she blew me away with how beautifully she transformed both Friday and Saturday's venues into a meadow-inspired wonderland. Hire Erin, you won't be disappointed, and your flowers will look like no-one else's.

Her hard work brought the aesthetic of the event together and made it really feel like "us". We loved our flowers so much that we also requested her bouquet preservation services! Hi, I'm Nicole and flowers are my passion! For the last twenty-six years I've been in love with floristry and have made countless lifelong relationships with the couples Ive worked with. When I'm not designing or playing in the garden, I'm busy being a wife, mother, and enjoying the many animals my family and I dote on.

Our wedding was an amazing occasion made even better by the flowers Nicole provided! They were absolutely stunning and we had SO MANY compliments. We were also out of towners so Nicole having some center piece options to rent made the trip easier and we knew they'd turn out great! We communicated before the event and everything was set up with zero stress. Couldn't be happier with our flowers, thank you so much!

A Blooming Affair

5.0

Vergennes, VT

Christina is a local Vermonter who’s crafted wedding flowers for over 25 years. In 2015, Christina and her friend Cindy took the leap and started their own wedding floral business, A Blooming Affair. Since then, Christina and Cindy have been flowering all over New England and upstate New York. Some of Christina's most memorable weddings have been at the Lake Bomoseen Lodge, Mad River Barn, Smugglers Notch, Barn at Smuggs, Maquam Barn, Basin Harbor and Private Estates.

A Blooming Affair was absolutely wonderful to work with for our recent August wedding. After a couple of phone calls, Christina and her team came up with the absolute perfect florals for our big day. They were everything we could have asked for and more. Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with and is so kind. Would absolutely recommend them over and over again!!!

  • Serves Vermont

We are an independent floral design studio based in Littleton, New Hampshire. We provide exceptional floral and styling services to brides and their planners throughout Northern New England. Our goal is to translate your vision into the perfect wedding day- one that you will remember forever. Each bouquet, arrangement, floral installation and décor detail is created with fresh, beautiful, in-seasonal flowers with an artful and passionate expert design hands.

Flowers are so important to me and I knew from the beginning what my vision was. A little background I am from MA and my wedding was held in Whitefield NH so I had to do ALOT of researching to find my vendors. I searched for floral shops in the area and stumbled across Emily's page and I couldn't be more happy I did!!! Emily is a pleasure to work with and so thorough. She is so easy to talk to and truly loves her work you can tell by her excitement when discussing your project and the final product. Every time we talked I hung up feeling confident about the conversation, which may seem strange to say but during the wedding planning process you would be surprised at how many conversations you have that end and just dont sit right. After we chatted a bit and I sent her my inspiration pictures she sent me back the contact and my goodness even that was beautiful! Now I am a type A personality so I am very organized and thorough myself but let me tell you that contract was excellent. It listed the flowers she intended to use and my color pallet etc. When you see it you'll know! She completely understood what I wanted every suggestion she made was right on track with my taste. I LOVE how she uses different kinds of plants and flowers and just puts it all together and your bouquet becomes an actual work of art. I was speechless when she brought them in they were better them I could have imagined they were PERFECT! Make your life simple and have Emily make your wedding perfect with her flowers and personality you will not be disappointed!!!!

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Vermont
  • Offer

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Vermont

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

Emily put such thought and care into the florals for my wedding and it truly showed - the color palette, the composition, the floral varieties were all stunning. Myself and guests were blown away by her work and I can't tell you how many compliments I received on the florals. I could not have been happier with the florals or the experience I had working with Emily. Not only is Emily incredibly talented, she was collaborative and extremely patient as my desires and needs changed throughout the months after we began working together. On our planning call, she was detailed, prepared, and took great feedback to provide me with a thoughtful mood board. I just wanted to reach out finally after our wedding and let you know how in love I was with all our floral decisions! The process was easy, seamless and, with a little help from my friends, a memory maker. I was totally oooo-ing and ahhhhhh-ing opening all the flower boxes after i picked them up! Each box was another wonderful surprise and i was floored with the quality! AND, best part, they lasted for days and being transported in the back of a work van to the Cape for our festivities. I have been highly recommending your business to everyone that asks. I’ve included some of the professional photos in case you wanted to use them on your site, due to file size, I’ll send a second email with additional photos. Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Piper & Pine Florals is located in Crown Point, Ny and was founded by Kaylene in 2020. After years of experience working under local florists and soaking up as much knowledge as possible, she felt it was time to pursue her dreams of owning her own floral business.

Piper & Pine Florals was a dream to work with for our wedding. They were super easy to communicate with and keep updated on any changes. The quality of their work was stunning - the flowers were local, in season, and so unique. Kaylene was so kind when they delivered the flowers, and they truly added such a special touch to our day. The flowers were everything and more from what I had imagined for our wedding. Kaylene's flower design is incredible, and we were so impressed by the beautiful and thoughtful arrangements she created for us.

We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Sweet Talk Floral for our late September wedding on Cape Cod. Lorinda and her team are incredible! Lorinda really helped us figure out our vision for the day — she brought tons of experience and suggestions to the table, but was also very receptive to our ideas during the planning process, and was open to tweaks and changes along the way as we figured out exactly what we wanted. Her team was impressively accommodating day-of, including when we needed to change from an outdoor to an indoor space last-minute; they adapted everything for a totally new environment expertly. And the beauty of the arrangements blew us away — we couldn’t stop smiling every time we looked at our florals. Highly, highly recommend!
