Whether that means walking along the beach near Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach with you, snow-shoeing up at the foot of Mt. St. Helens for your Engagement Photoshoot, following you down the aisle in some of our gorgeous Pacific Northwest scenery, or playing in piles of leaves for your beautiful family photos and getting those magical shots. Russian born, Europe grown chose PNW as my home. As of today I'm proud to show weddings I shot in PNW, California, Italy, Hungary, Russia, and Spain, the experience of working in such various market made me adaptable to different needs. Hello! My name is Dana (pronounced 'Donna') and I was born and raised in Mexico, and now I currently reside in Vancouver, WA with my husband and three fur babies. I love to travel and explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and beyond! I am so grateful to be able to photograph couples and families displaying so much fun and love. I primarily shoot couples, maternity & destination weddings, and elopements. When I'm not working behind the camera, you can find me hiking, doing pottery, painting, practicing yoga, playing music, or finding new places to eat.

I have lived in Washington my whole life and absolutely love this beautiful green state! I grew up right across the bridge from Portland, then moved to Seattle for 6 years, and now I'm back in Vancouver! For as long as I can remember, I've loved to take pictures. I got my first little film camera for Christmas when I was 8 years old. Looking for things to photograph filled me with so much joy and I would be giddy with excitement when my mom would bring home the developed photos for me to look through.

The experience of my own aisle moment is at the heart behind why I choose to document wedding days: to create light-filled reminders of the greatest promise I've come to know. I looked up from my mama’s embrace to see my future husband walking away from the altar...he was coming to meet us halfway down the aisle. This made journeying towards the greatest act of faith something we did together. I was sure grateful to have two sets of hands in mine for those final steps! Revisiting photographs by opening our own album brings back every racing heartbeat, happy tear, & warmth from favorite embraces all over again.

HI THERE. I’M JESSICA… but most of my friends call me Jes. When I meet you, I’m probably going to give you a hug. I can’t help it, I’m a hugger. I’m here to help you! I’m here to capture and preserve special moments in your life. And don’t worry, I’ll tell you how to stand and what to do with your hands. I got you.I’m seriously addicted to coffee and sparkling water. I could also probably eat chips and guacamole everyday because… guacamole. When I’m not behind my camera, you can usually find me out exploring new places or hiking. I love exploring the outdoors, as I am and always will be a PNW girl at heart.

What do I love about what I do? Pretty much everything, but the best part is all of you. I consider it an incredible privilege to be invited into your lives to share your moments and help you tell your stories. And, what amazing stories! I am blessed, no, lavished with amazing clients who share their lives with me and often become my friends. What isn’t there to love about that?!
