“We very highly recommend the Sonesta in White Plains, NY for your wedding hotel block and events! My partner and I got married in March 2024, and the team at Sonesta White Plains Downtown helped make our wedding weekend a lot less stressful. For our wedding, we used the Sonesta for our wedding hotel block, as well as for an after party, and we could not have been happier with how everything worked out with our own rooms, as well the after party event, and the customer service onsite was probably the best we have ever experienced. When we first booked with Sonesta, we worked primarily with Amy, the Convention Services Manager, who was not only very professional, but also extremely responsive, as well as accommodating to what we needed for our guests. Amy and the Sonesta team were all very accessible throughout the entire process when working on organizing the specific timeline and requirements we needed. When it came to coordinating the drop-off and dispersal of the welcome bags for our guests staying at the hotel, as well for planning our shuttles to and from the venue, the Sonesta team made everything very simple and practically effortless for us, permitting us to worry about a few less things throughout the weekend. From the start of our arrival, the staff at Sonesta made us feel as if we were VIPs, despite there being at least two other wedding blocks at the hotel that weekend. When we first checked in, we were immediately greeted by the onsite manager who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with anything we could. Throughout the entire weekend, the customer service was impeccable, not only for my partner and I, but for all of our wedding guests at the hotel. All of the Sonesta staff were extremely kind and helpful. Additionally, the hotel itself is very nice and clean, and it looked like they had just recently renovated a lot of the various common areas. We also were allowed to use one of their brand new suites as the bridal suite and it was beautiful, and huge! It was also very spacious for the hair & makeup teams in the morning. When it came to the after party, we worked primarily with Dwight, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the White Plains Sonesta, and he was really great. He was tremendously helpful and accommodating when it came to helping us plan the after party, as well as during the event itself. Dwight made sure everything for the party was set up and ready to go before everyone arrived, and he consistently checked-in on us throughout the event to see if we needed anything. Additionally, the food during the after party and ordered as room service was all really good as well. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the Sonesta White Plains Downtown during our wedding weekend and everything went very smoothly. We really cannot say enough great things about the Sonesta, the management team or the hotel staff at the White Plains location. They were all remarkable and the hotel was exceptional. “Right from the start when we went to look at Harbor Club at Prime, we knew there was something special about the venue. We met with Christine and she was so wonderful. We booked the next day. Helen, the Day of Coordinator was also amazing! Fast forward to wedding day, the rooms were set up beautifully; we were in awe. The staff was so attentive to all of us. Our guests raved about the food, both cocktail hour and dinner. Everything went smoothly and we could not have asked for a better venue and group of people to work with to make our night the best night of our lives.”

“I got married here in June and only have positive things to share!! Our ceremony was held outdoors and was gorgeous. There are endless spots to take beautiful pictures. All of the staff genuinely care about you and never made me feel like just another wedding- and it was noticed! Friends and family all commented how wonderful the venue was and that they appreciated everything being in one place. Alana, our main contact, is so thoughtful & easy to work with and made everything as seamless as possible. She handled everything the day of- it seriously was as stress free as I could imagine! Maria, the bridal attendant, is an absolute dream! She felt like family by the end of the day. She steamed everyone’s dresses, arranged the suite beautifully for pictures and even set up our “details” picture. She knows exactly what she’s doing and was always there to make sure things were running smoothly and provide added support. Everyone raved about all the food, especially cocktail hour (the mac and cheese station was a hit and so were the vodka chicken parm quesadillas. I also personally loved the passed flatbreads and buffalo chicken spring rolls). Once we got to the reception, the night flew by but we truly had such an amazing time!! Maria was still tending to me throughout the night when I needed her- she was there to bustle my dress and make sure I was eating enough!! We then had our after party there and the grilled cheeses were a great addition for a late night snack. Getting to sleep on site in the cabin (and having that space the whole day and night) was another added bonus that you won’t find most places. Could not recommend this place enough!!”

“I got married on 5/5/24 and had a really great experience working with the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow! It is such a beautiful and unique venue and I fell in love with it immediately. At many venues you hope to have your ceremony outdoors and the bad weather alternative looks nothing like what you envisioned, but at the Pavilion, the rain plan has the same beautiful view from inside. This worked out for me because it rained all day! The indoor ceremony felt intimate and romantic and we did not sacrifice the views of the beach. The staff transitioned the room over for the ceremony seamlessly while we had cocktail hour in the large tent. We worked with Emily as our coordinator and from day one, she was SO helpful and lovely to work with. I married a chef and Emily helped arrange a meeting for him with the venue chef in order to ensure everything was as he envisioned and they were very accommodating and receptive to his ideas. Sabrina was my bridal attendant on the day and she was so sweet and always ready with anything I could need. She kept our drinks full and checked in regularly. Like many brides, my bustle came undone while dancing and she immediately found me to help repair it. We had around 125 people and were very comfortable with the reception in the main room with ample dance floor space. Highly recommend!!”
