Wedding videos are my favorite activity as a professional videographer - I love the "Heart" connection with all my wedding couples. Many couples remain part of my "Extended" family to this day, sending me pictures of their new family arrivals (baby pic's!), thank you notes and referrals to other friends and family members. My approach to wedding videos has changed dramatically over the past few years. I no longer pursue the $2,500 to $3,500 wedding gigs with 2-3 videographers and drones flying overhead. There are so many couples that want a beautiful video of their special day but do not have, or want to spend, thousands of dollars.

In 2015, my journey into photography kicked off when I bought a camera from a pawn shop without breaking the bank. Discovering the fascination of capturing moments through photos and videos, I swiftly pivoted my career focus towards photography and videography. Hi I'm Andrew! I first started filming weddings when my sister got married in 2017. I quickly fell in love with the entire process and getting to know all the couples and their guests. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic haha (My guilty pleasure is Hallmark movies, once I walk in the room with it on I have to see how it ends!).

Marcos Vidal is a native Tucsonian who attended the University of Arizona for film and television. At it's roots Laughing Dog started with three friends creating videos in 2004. Behind the passion of creating is a story of loss, Andrew Rees was the initial founder who gathered his two friends Marcos, and Danny to help create videos. Andrew passed away in 2009 from complications from being diagnosed with leukemia.
