My love of music started in the back seat of my dads car as he took me to daycare, with Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On" on repeat. My love of music spans generations, cultures and genres, and has taken me all over the world, from England, Spain, St. Marteen, and Austria. As for me, I am a Brooklyn native, who during the pandemic was able leave corporate career to pursue my passion of music. Dallas-Fort Worth saxophonist and jazz musician Justin Pierce began his musical career in the musically diverse region of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast. He has performed across the United States and internationally, earned degrees in both classical and jazz styles, and taught at the secondary and college levels. Justin holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) in Saxophone Performance and a Master of Music (M.M) in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. As an active musician, he leads The Justin Pierce Jazz Group, which performs regularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
