By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. Hi, I am Emily! I'm happy that you've landed on my page. I specialize in covering videography as well as photography. I have been shooting weddings since 2013. I fell in love with watching people be in love! You can't find a better gig. I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in 2019. I've really been able to put my education to work in regards to all things wedding films. John Severson graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 with degrees in Anthropology and Film. His passion for film has taken him all over the world, from Vietnam to Zanzibar. John is a Chicagoland native. After graduating and traveling, he returned back to Chicago’s Lakeview and South Loop neighborhoods. In 2009, he married his wife Sarah, and moved back to their native Oak Park to raise their two children, Stella and George. I have been filming weddings for 10 years now with over 300 weddings under my belt. I have been extremely blessed and honored to have been apart of so many beautiful love stories. As a musician who studied music, filmmaking has truly captured my heart and allowed me a creative fusion of music and visuals. The song selection is so important to me in my films that I dedicate a lot of time to find those perfect songs that truly reflect each couple. I love to tell stories, I love to travel, and I love my family. I love to create and capture moments that tell a story while leaving people emotionally engaged and captivated throughout the film.

After picking up a photography camera back in 2010, I always was intrigued by video. I continued with photography until August 2016, when I switched my camera to video mode and started making videos. Eventually a friend I did wedding photography for trusted me to start shooting video for his company, and the rest is history. I’ve since stopped taking photos and become fully immersed in creating wedding films ever since, leading to 5+ years filming weddings and 2 years photographing weddings prior. I’m committed every day to perfecting my craft, trying new techniques, and as any filmmaker knows, purchasing excessive amounts of new camera gear.

I starting filming weddings 8 years ago and I have been in love with my job ever since! I have a BA in Cinematography from Columbia Chicago and have been behind a camera since I can remember. I absolutely love working with super fun couples on their big day and making sure they can relive everything through my videos!

I was born and raised in Ukraine where I studied at a law school. When I moved to the USA in 2016, I dramatically switched my career path from a lawyer to a digital artist. I got a degree in Media Arts and Filmmaking and started shooting dance, fashion, music, and became a wedding videographer located in Chicago.

I love movies! I love romantic movies! Movies that can make you laugh and cry, fall in love or just be in it. That's why I'm passionate about it. We already won an international award from WPPI, an international organization of Wedding Photographers and Filmmakers

My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. I love what I do and finding intriguing/interesting ways to display those pieces is what keeps me creative and constantly making my films better.
