We had a small wedding, but our venue required a day-of coordinator to be on site, so we started the search! It was hard to find someone who understand what we needed (as much as what we didn't need). We had our dog in our wedding, and Mostest matched us with a dog-friendly coordinator, Whitney, who really got us. Having someone local to the area was a major plus and added so much ease to the day. Whitney helped us out immensely the month of, assisting with everything from placecards to shuttling items back and forth from the hotel to the venue. Whitney could not have been nicer, and the value for the day was off the charts. We would recommend Mostest in a heartbeat.

Deliece & Melissa were integral to the success of our beautiful wedding, and life savers in their day-of coordination of the event. I selected a ten week package where my fiancée and I selected our vendors and personalized the event to our tastes, but in the two and a half months leading up to the big day they dove in head first to get a handle on every detail and help us polish off any items on our to do list that we were struggling with. After hours of meetings to extract information that had been swirling around in my brain for a year, we were provided with a minute by minute timeline of the day, along with an entire decision making workbook that lead us through ceremony choices, first dance planning and a comprehensive item inventory to make sure no detail was left behind. They provided a budgeting workbook that made my little accountant heart flutter, and offered guidance based on years of practical experience working events and seeing how guests congregate and react to specific elements. Once their package kicked in I was able to pass off tasks that were stressing me out and know that they were being handled completely. Their additional day-of team member, Antonia, shadowed me (the bride) for most of the day and acted like a fairy godmother—handing me an already opened bottle of water or much needed electric fan, provided hair pins out of thin air, tackling my complicated bustle, and generally being warm, pleasant, and comforting in moments of anxiety. She melted into the background when I was on, and offered a protective enclave to sink back into when I needed a minute. The Dhalia team was flawless in their execution of the plan, and tactful in their handling of complex family relationships and herding of guests. Their pricing was clear and uncomplicated, and they were happy to answer straightforward questions with concise answers and no awkwardness or pressure to spend more than planned. Alanis Morissette prepared me for the possibility of rain on my wedding day, but Dhalia made sure my vision still came together perfectly! Thank you so much!!

A surprise to no one, planning a wedding is a lot of work. While I planned the entire wedding myself, I can say unequivocally the best thing I ever did during this process was hire a day of coordinator. Make room in your budget for one. I promise you won't regret it. Now, my venue required that I get a day of coordinator and it was absolutely the right decision. I literally cannot imagine my wedding without someone there to help and guide the day. Getting married is A LOT. It is exhausting and it is thrilling. I had no time to think about anything and I didn't want to rely on family or friends to take time from enjoying the day with me to deal with anything at the wedding either. Onto The Day Of Company. I got their base package, which worked great. First, while the name implies they are only working on the day, the company does a lot more than that. They are there for you in the handful of months leading up to your wedding to answer any questions or assist in your planning process. But in the weeks leading up to the wedding is where this company was a lifeline. They are on hand to wrangle vendors, advise on details, arrange timelines, etc. They really were needed in the end to help me get to the finish line. Then, on the wedding day, my coordinator, Jennifer, was just wonderful. She was imperative to making sure not only did the day run smoothly, but that my vision was fully realized. She helped with everything and I mean everything -- she even ran around to find a pocket square for my husband on the morning of the wedding! I couldn't be more grateful for her patience, effort, and professionalism. Again, hire a day of coordinator and, in particular, The Day Of Company. It will be the best decision you make as you plan your wedding.

You never truly understand the value of a wedding planner/coordinator until after the wedding. I am SOOOO happy I had Greta and her team help us out with your special day. I would always hear how the wedding day is so stressful and that you don’t get to actually enjoy it, that you don’t even get to eat, as you have to make sure everything goes as planned and cater to all of your guests. I am SO happy to say I did not feel any of that! My husband and I got to relax and we had so much fun because she was there to do all that for us. Greta and her team planned every single detail of the wedding day for me. She had a very detailed timeline and was with us at every moment of the event. She made sure everything ran smoothly and as planned. I know not everyone can afford a wedding planner, but you should AT LEAST hire a wedding coordinator. We had absolutely no issues with any of the vendors because she knew who to recommend) she helped with the timeline, with the decorations… literally everything. They were the picture of calm and brought the most warm and positive energy that our guests just fed off. Everything was so, so well coordinated and we felt we could just trust the Faye Fern team to do their job. They also gave us invaluable advice before the wedding which we followed and it helped to keep us very organized on our end. The decor took our breath away. We aren't design experts and just had a general idea of what we liked. Also owing to our busy schedules which left us little time to participate in the design process, we let Natalie run freely with the concepts she came up with and would tell any other couple to do the same! You won't regret it! I might be something of a designer's nightmare: a bride who doesn't always know what she wants and doesn't have time to plan anything but has high standards about whatever it is. I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. So I want to thank Natalie for always treating it like it was OUR wedding and not just mine because it meant a lot to my husband.

We never expected to have the perfect wedding, but thanks to Kate and Jen/Green Apple, we truly had the perfect wedding for us. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of, and Kate and Jen made the process so easy. Between choosing the venue, picking the band, dealing with COVID uncertainties, actually running the show the day of, and a million other things, they were always responsive, patient, and so much fun to work with. It’s hard to know what the perfect wedding will look like ahead of time, and although we had some vague general ideas and a couple weirdly specific requests, we weren’t really sure about how it would all come together. Kate and Jen took the time to listen to us, giving us formal questions and plenty of their time to talk things out informally. It felt like they immediately got what we were saying and had ideas about how to make our wedding come to life. They were honest when they thought something might not work, and creative when we were trying to come up with solutions to an issue. All of that was so important because it could often feel really hard to plan a wedding while managing two busy careers and everything else in our lives, and it was so reassuring to know we had them making sure everything was on track. Their experience and their willingness to get to know us made everything come together that whole weekend in a way we’ll never forget. The best part about working with Kate and Jen is how much they clearly LOVE what they do, and truly feel invested in the couples that they are planning with. This really does not feel like just a job to them, and we felt so supported throughout by their warm and personal approach. We genuinely miss them so much already, and it's only been a month since our wedding.

Nicole is extremely organized, attentive, quick thinking and positive! She took all the weight off our shoulders the last few weeks of planning, making the vendor schedule, double checking our list of to-dos, and much more. She allowed us to actually enjoy the weeks leading up to our wedding verses stressing over how everything will get done. She was my fierce ally when I had a hiccup with one of my vendors and she took over communication to sort everything out. The day of, Nicole was everywhere she was needed and went above and beyond for me and my family. My dad (who was skeptical at first) was so happy as the day went on. Even my bridal party is still raving about Nicole! Her attention to detail is unmatched and I can honestly say hiring her was one of the best parts of the wedding planning process.

In the months before the wedding, the Styled Stem team provided the perfect balance of logistical and emotional support to allow me to go into my wedding day without any concerns. From day 1, the team listened to my vision and worked with me to make it happen, from finding the best-in-class vendors to floral design to logistical support. My wedding was set in the backyard of my uncle's rural property in western New Jersey. There were many unique challenges associated with this venue choice: parking on a bumpy lawn, scarcity of indoor restrooms, a long driveway which made for tricky rental delivery. Candice and her team found us the valet who would make it happen, the more deluxe mobile restrooms any of our guests had seen, and on the day of my wedding, she solved delivery mishaps before I even heard about then. And the visual design! Everything came out exactly as I wanted it to, and beyond. I was surprised on the day of my wedding with gorgeous wildflower floral arrangements in small glass vases. The day was a perfect blend of flowery laid-back visuals while still feeling elegant and allowing the natural environment to sing. My wedding bouquet, a Styled Stem design, was absolutely perfect, and Candice's completely independent design and creation. One more thing: this team attended the most sentimental day of our lives and fit right in among our family and friends. They worked incredibly hard, but with such grace and good humor, they felt like family. I hope to keep in touch with them for years to come, as I feel grateful to have met such wonderful people as they are through this process.

Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!

I would first like to say, that I'm very honored to provide this review for Eileen Smith. She was absolutely the best to work with! I'm still in awe of how she pulled off my wedding in less than three months. With that said, here's why I feel this way. I was contracted with the Italian Center in Stamford, CT to have my wedding on August 26, 2023, in their summer tent. I knew there would be some work required to bring my vision to fruition, so I hired what I thought was a "wedding planner". This individual turned out to be a "party decorator", which I quickly realized, as soon as I spoke with Eileen, is a big difference from an experienced and professional Wedding Planner. The "party decorator" had no idea of all the intricate details required for a wedding. As the days grew close to my date, I was in complete shambles, frustrated and defeated. My wedding was going to be disaster! I could feel depression setting in, so I just started Googling every wedding planner in the tri-state (NY, NJ & CT) area. Most were already booked for the summer and not accepting any new gigs. I had called so many planners that my head was spinning, but I remember one agreed to speak with me on a Sunday afternoon in June. When she called me, she asked me to tell her what was going on. I started to explain my situation and the time constraint I was under. The first thing Eileen said to me was, "I'm so sorry you're going through this, so close to your wedding". It brought me to tears then, just as it's doing right now. I immediately felt like she cared and was going to rescue me. After some discussions, I hired Eileen and she took off from that point. She met with the venue representative several times, had countless calls and email communication with her to ensure I received the best service they could provide. She then informed me (unlike the "party decorator"), that the tent was way too big for my 100 guests and needed to be closed in. She had a decorator come in to drape off the tent which gave it a more intimate look. We then work with what I consider to be one of the coolest florist around. They absolutely understood the assigment. The centerpieces for the table were tall with white flowers, just how I envisioned it and the pillars of flowers at the altar were phenomenal. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful everthing was til this day. I could not have planned a better wedding if I started two years prior. Eileen stayed close to me throughout the entire process. She made sure all the vendors had their COI and performed the services they were hired for. Eileen packed up my husbands SUV at the end of the night with the two slices of cake I asked her to save for me. I would recommend her for her caring first, her professionalism and attention to detail. She definitely rescued my me!
