We're a Scottish duo living our best lives in Los Angeles! We appreciate unpopular TV shows, all the vegan food, and a good old road trip. But our most favorite thing is our two fur-kids (bunnies!). We are not typical wedding photographers, that is for certain. We go against the usual grain, and that's exactly how we like it to roll. Normal is boring. Well, for us, at least. I'm best known for my elegant and playful small weddings photographed at the iconic San Francisco City Hall throughout the last decade. Studio Opia is a studio specialized in fine art wedding and portrait photography. Studio Opia is formed with love, by Daniel and Donna, who happen to be the significant other of each other's. Daniel and Donna are both travelers and are curious about the wild world. Donna is a part time mixologist and florist, and Daniel is a talented cook and passionated about home vlog. She resides in Indiana and photographs across the United States. ​ ​I capture the personal and the precious with an artistic sensibility. I love romance and I want to reflect that in my images. I married my husband twice, not because we were divorced but because our first wedding was at a courthouse, and on 1st year anniversary, we renewed our vows in front of 100s of our family and friends. We have 2 beautiful daughters that keep us on our toes. And when I am not photographing weddings, I work as a nurse in the emergency room.

When I was sixteen years old, my photography teacher asked me if I was interested in photographing a wedding for his former student. I said, "sure, when?". He said, "this weekend". I had zero idea that a wedding photographer was a viable career, but I sure am living out the dream of my childhood self who ran around with a camera at all times, loved people, and wanted to run the best business (lemonade stand) on the block. Anyways, I'm thrilled you're here, and I'm excited to share some more of my heart right here. Sixteen year old me with a camera and a far fetched dream would be really thrilled to be here.

After finishing her Master’s in Arts, she moved to the Czech Republic, where she began her career in graphic design, styling, and art direction.
