The most consistent feedback I get from my couples is that I put them at ease. Almost everyone is uncomfortable in front of the camera, but that’s why I’m there — to help you look and feel great taking pictures. Your wedding photographer is in your personal space on one of the most hectic but thrilling days of your life - make sure the person in your corner is someone who adds to the joy on your day. With me, you get someone who can go with the flow, has your back, and seamlessly adapts to the energy in the room.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Jen for our engagement photos and wedding day (and will certainly be coming back for future photography needs). Her creativity and collaborative nature combined with her expertise in capturing the most beautiful moments exceeded our expectations in terms of what we were looking for in a photographer. We cannot thank her enough for creating these timeless keepsakes for us-- we had so many great photos from our engagement shoot it was hard to choose which to use for our website/invites, and we were so happy with our sneak peak photos from our wedding day! If you are a couple that hasn't taken pictures together before, or if you are looking for a photographer who can meet you where you are and help you figure out what works for the style of your event, Jen is the photographer for you.

I am a wedding and elopement photographer based in Seattle, Washington. With over 5 years of shooting weddings in Southern California, I bring a creative, professional and relaxed approach to help treasure each moment on your special day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Doug was such a good choice!! We were trying to find a photographer to be there for our elopement, he shot mainly on film and the photos came out absolutely perfect. His work is truly special and deserves much more notice, his film work is so nostalgic and beautiful! He was great with making sure we hiked at a good time and made it to the best spot for photos. He was patient with taking photos of us in both hiking outfits as well as our wedding attire that we brought with us, we are so excited to work again with him in the future for anything else life throws at us!

My heart beats for photographing a story worth telling, and finding the funny, quirky, moving little moments throughout that narrative. I always have a smile on my face and love, absolutely love to make people laugh. I can recite funny quotes and sing to you the cheesiest of songs. As cheesy as it may sound, I want to be your friend. I want to laugh throughout the whole day with you, making every moment so memorable and being right by your side to capture it. I want to keep in touch with you after, to see where life takes you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Andrea was really wonderful to work with. We met her through a friend of ours that had their photos done and had really wonderful things to say about her. She did our engagement photos and wedding. We were both really nervous about getting in front of the camera, but Andrea had us laughing the whole time and we even brought our dogs with us. We couldn't be happier with all the photos we got back, she truly captured every moment and her view on everything was really beautiful. I would highly recommend working with Andrea.

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in the bustling city of Arlington in Northern Virginia, but will travel pretty much anywhere for an excuse to have another adventure. Whether it's marking the end of an academic stretch, getting all cuddly and intimate with your love, laughing in the arms of your family, welcoming a little one into the world, or celebrating a wedding with all your loved ones, each story has memories that should be preserved forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
Bri was our photographer for our wedding and I can’t even begin to explain how amazing she was. She kept everyone on schedule, had such a warm and pleasant demeanor, and the pictures were unreal. They were EXACTLY what we wanted for our special day. I will definitely be using her for any future photos.

A wedding and engagement photographer but so much more than just that. I’m a friend, daughter, sister, momma to my beautiful baby girl Scarlette Rose, wife to one incredible hunk of a man, fur mom to one ADORABLE little Chihuahua, Pug, Great Pyrenees, and two ducks named Harold and Mushu (I WOULD DIE FOR THEM). I’m a hiker, lover of giddy laughs because your body can’t contain all the joy you’re experiencing, lover of love, meditation lover, crystal lover, people lover, tattoo lover, and most importantly…lover of personal growth and learning from this big classroom we call life! Without all these labels?

I’ve worked with Ally numerous times. She is so supportive & such a good hype woman. Not only does she go above and beyond to make her client experience one to remember, but she really cares about the experience as a whole. Whether she’s photographing me or I’m assisting her at a wedding-I absolutely adore her bright spirit and attention to detail. Can’t wait to work with her more in the future!

I'm east coast born & raised, but a loyal Seattle convert since 2014. I love trash reality tv. I teach aerial yoga once a week. I'm usually craving fries. I'll never turn down a margarita (except while I'm on the clock at your wedding!). I lead student trips abroad with National Geographic. I think there's no better way to spend a summer day than in the sun and on a paddle board. And I think that your wedding should be exactly how you and your partner want it to be. Email me at katejmillerphotography@gmail.com and I’ll tell you hilarious stories and answer all of your questions.

Very professional and Team Orientated! Loved how they work with the vendors to keep the clients best interest.

I've been photographing professionally since 2004 and while it's always so awkward to write about yourself, here goes: In that time, I've been honored in my field as Seattle Bride Magazine's Best Photographer multiple years and invited to the exclusive list of WBWP as one of the World's Best Wedding Photographers, planners and clients tell me I'm known for flattering posing, natural results, indoor lighting in tricky situations, and a light touch that allows beautiful moments to flourish ♥︎

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Kim (specifically Kimberly Person, regardless of company name) was the best decision I made for my wedding. The short version: + Photography: gorgeous photos in both indoor and outdoor settings, in tricky lighting, for groups of people with widely varying complexions and dress colors, staging props, and including pets without unnatural filters/corrections + Planning: Years of experience lending to a helpful planning checklist, network of talented wedding vendors, willingness to jump in where needed to ensure wedding planning and wedding itself go well + Extras: Prioritizes bride/groom’s comfort and experience over everything else, makes taking pictures feel fun, gets where she needs to be for every photo opportunity The longer version is that I can’t imagine having had my wedding without Kim. I delayed my wedding a year because of Covid, and Kim was only supportive throughout. She remained flexible with date changes, and always seemed to care more about how I was feeling than how changes to my plans were changing her plans as well. My wedding was at the Asian Art Museum in Seattle in October. I got ready at my house with my bridesmaids in the morning, did my first look outside my house (the dog got to join in too!) in the early afternoon, took photos with my husband and our bridal party in Volunteer Park on a luckily clear afternoon, took photos with our families in a room with floor to ceiling windows inside the Asian Art Museum a little before sunset, followed by the ceremony in the same glass-walled room after sunset, and danced the night away in the brightly-lit main hall. The photos Kim took in all those different environments are equally stunning, showcasing a very wide range of skin colors, varied shades of blue and green jewel tones in dresses, and either the soft white of the museum or the bright greens, reds, and yellows of the park in fall for the background. Despite the changing light between our family photos and ceremony in a glass-walled room, Kim made us look and feel. Kim’s cues were easy to lean in to and my wedding photos look and feel natural. Kim was also my unofficial wedding planner. Whenever I asked her for a recommendation, she first checked to see if the people she was recommending were available on my wedding day. Kim built in all the right buffers in our schedule for the day and walked the officiant through how to correctly fill out and sign the paperwork after the ceremony. She expertly navigated family drama and possible conflict by asking us about it weeks before the wedding. She made sure she had everyone’s preferred names and pronouns, and coordinated with all our other vendors to ensure everything was staged and photo ready on time. What I will never forget and will forever be thankful for is how Kim prioritized my comfort over two years of wedding planning and the million moments of my wedding day. She shut down strangers in the park who were taking photos of me and making me uncomfortable, reminded me to point my toes before the first dance, and drove my husband and me to the wedding so we weren’t dependent on anyone else’s schedule. Kim is the reason why I can look back on the beautiful memories of my wedding day, and all the moments my guests enjoyed that I wasn’t present for. I suspect she knew my husband and I would be pulled in many directions that day, but she caught every moment we were on our own and every moment we weren’t present for, taking in everything and everyone around us.

I’ve always been that girl who absolutely hates being left out of a good time. FOMO, amiright?! Weddings are sort of an extension of that for me. I want to be there to capture every bit of the fun, excitement and overwhelming, heartfelt joy. I work hard to get to know my clients, expecting that by the time your wedding day rolls around, you’ll consider me a friend. You’ll know me and I’ll know you and when I show up on the big day you’re both simply going to think… Hey, my friend Amy’s here. Awesome! Because the truth is this: It’s much easier to relax in front of a camera when you know there’s a friend you trust behind it.

Amy of Amelia Soper Photography couldn't have done a better job photographing our wedding. We adore the photos she took! Amy is reliable, professional and an excellent communicator. She connected with us just the right amount before, during and after the wedding. Our wedding package included an engagement shoot and we were nervous as it was our first professional photoshoot, but Amy helped us feel relaxed and ourselves and she captured genuine emotion that made for sweet, memorable photos. She is very experienced in photographing weddings and it shows in her shots, not to mention that she seemed to have captured multiple angles of the same moments during the ceremony without anyone noticing her movement! Choosing Amy for any of your photographic needs will be a good choice!
