Welcome to Five Birds Farm, a family-owned and operated curated wedding + private event venue. Using our 30+ years of combined event planning and production experience, we've worked to build an intimate and bespoke venue dedicated to quality, sustainability, and affordability. We offer a variety of picturesque locations, including our 100-year-old restored event barn, 1920's era Copper Hill train station, charming carriage house and luxury cottage accomodations in our renovated 1930’s Sears and Roebuck kit house. Uniquely, we are delighted to offer arrivals and cocktail hours aboard the BR&W train, which pulls up to our exclusive train stop on property. Importantly, FBF is engaging in regenerative soil efforts, reintroducing native species of plants and vegetation to ultimately result in a permaculture-driven farm-to-fork food and event flower garden. The Palace at Somerset Park is the perfect distance from Manhattan, Philadelphia and international airports. 40 acres of manicured estate surrounded by picturesque gardens, allows couples the ultimate canvas for creating their everlasting memories. With 25 foot ceilings, custom chandeliers and grand staircases for dramatic entrances the Palace is the place to be. As guests enter through magnificent private entrances they will be greeted by tuxedoed servers with sparkling water and champagne into the foyer area. The Grand Ballroom at Stirling Ridge Featuring 16’ ceilings and a series of glass doors and walls that open up to private gardens and fire pits. The Grand Ballroom is designed with classic, clean lines, state floors, and a natural color palette. Both The Grand Ballroom and The Lodge are located on opposite sides of the property, ensuring exclusive use of the facility and privacy for you and your guests. The Lodge at Stirling Ridge This mid-century modern, yet industrial space is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, wrought-iron chandleries, and a stone fireplace standing 20 feet tall. The mulit-level cocktail space offers the look and feel of an art gallery, while incorporating brick walls, slate and wood floors, and an angled ceiling.

This unique, unparalleled location, surrounded by preserved farmland, is the perfect setting for weddings. Updike Farmstead has has become a destination-style venue within Princeton for those looking to create the wedding of their dreams. Our exclusive caterers provide day-of coordination for your wedding. This includes ordering the rentals that will capture your unique vision; be it farm tables, boho dinnerware sets, bistro lighting, or vintage lounge furniture. They also set up the barn to your specifications and break down the rentals at the end of the evening. Available late April through early November.
