Hello! My name is Alec and I run Small Batch Films! With a Master's Degree in Business Administration, I never thought I would find my love in wedding videography. I initially picked up a camera as a hobby, and then friends started asking me to do photography for them. Pretty soon I was doing photography for my friend's weddings, and I was hooked. Hello, I am Alexius. I was born and raised right here in the good ole North Carolina. I live in Raleigh now, but I was raised in a small town of "Midway" (right outside of Winston-Salem). I came to Raleigh back in 2012 to attend NC State University and made Raleigh my permanent home. I found my passion for photography about five years ago and still amazed at the places that my little camera has taken me. I am even more amazed at the friends I have made while pursuing my passion for photography and filmmaking.

 I've been a videographer for 7 years now, and I absolutely love it. I have a passion for telling stories through my work, and I truly believe that every moment captured on camera is an opportunity to create something special. One of my favorite things to do is incorporate dramatic lighting into my imagery, whether I'm filming a wedding or taking couples' photos. I also love to travel and take photos of landscapes and other beautiful places. Whenever I go somewhere new, I always bring my camera along so I can capture every little moment. When I'm not working or traveling, I like to read and spend time with my best friend and our dog, Scout.

Mike started filming professionally off of a desire to create and serve those around him. However, the allure of filming came from his passion for dance. He started by filming his own dance videos which brought him into the world of video editing. Also, Mike has a passion for technology that allows him to have a deeper understanding of the equipment and software he uses to serve his clients.

I only get 10% upfront and have insurance. My typical price is $800 for 4-5 hours of coverage including a fully edited highlight video and mostly unedited full length version. ceremony and reception.
