My name is Jazmin and I and the business owner and baker. I love to create desserts and decorate as well. I combined my two passions and created Oh My Flan! We sell a variety of Hispanic-inspired desserts and some of my own creations as well. Such as a variety of flan (caramel custard) flavors, a variety of Tres Leche (3 milk cake) flavors, Arroz con Leche (rice pudding), and other yummy things. Mari Angeles Rubio has an Associates degree in Culinary Arts, a Bachelors in Food Service Management and a concentration in Events, Sales & Meetings Management from Johnson & Wales University, in North Miami, FL. At the age of 19 she moved to the region of Puglia, Italy to complete a six month internship in a prestigious southern hotel. In 2010, Mari became a member of the American Culinary Federation and a Certified Culinarian. In 2013, she received her certification in Wedding and Event Planning by the Wedding Planning Institute.

Vegan edible Art! That’s what Bettersweet vegan bakery is about. It was founded by Indira Cristin in 2015 after moving and started a new life in Miami. She always wanted to have her own business and her love for sweets and persistency made it happen. Her mission is to promote “Inclusion”. She realized that in every single celebration the was always someone that wasn’t able to enjoy the cake for different reasons such as allergies, religions, food habits or diets. To finish this pattern of exclusion she created a Vegan bakery that offers not only delicious cakes but also that specializes in artistic designs that have been talk about lately.

I am a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America with over 13 years of experience working in fine dining restaurants and hotels along the east coast. I have combined my life's two passions, baking and art, to create a career where I can utilize my skills to the fullest extent. I look forward to creating a delicious and memorable addition to your next event!

I started baking and cake designing for fun in 2020, right before the pandemic began. But when I realized the desire we all had to connect with one another during that time, I decided to bake for others and the rest was history! I love transforming a typical dessert into a unique piece of art. I find it incredibly special knowing my work is being used to celebrate something and bring others together. Layers of intricate and lifelike florals and botanicals, hand molded and organically pieced bas relief and handmade delicate cake lace are just some of the techniques and details that tell the personal stories of her deserving clients.
