Ana Cortes is a Professional Makeup Artist and Licensed Cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience. Beauty by Ana has been a long time in the works since discovering a passion for hair and makeup from a young age. She remembers getting in trouble for getting into her mom's makeup at 5 years old, as well as having barbies with no hair because they all got haircuts. She always knew it was something she wanted to purseue and therefore enrolled herself at Paris II Cosmetology in Kansas City after High School. While in school, she realized there were endless possibilities in the Beauty Industry, and her love for makeup continued to evolve. ​

Almost 6 years ago, I decided I wanted to be a makeup artist. Based on a youtube video. At the time, I had no idea what the goal was, I just knew I loved all things makeup and beauty.
