He has spent most of his time being surrounded by the natural beauty of flowers and has based his career around his passion. After several years of working with a few prestigious florists in the Northeast, he decided to open his own floral design studio in 2018. It is his pleasure to create one of a kind, custom floral designs for each of his couples and bring their wedding dreams into reality.

At CMD, we are a boutique design studio specializing in floral & event design in Portland & throughout New England. At CMD, we are floral designers, so we help with overall event and table design. To help make this process easier (and funner!), we have a built a large rental inventory that includes candles, custom arbors, votive holders and beyond!

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 15 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.
