Much to my delight, as a sophomore in high school, I was mistakenly placed into a senior level photography class. Since then I have never been without a camera. I graduated in 1993, with a BFA in Photography from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked for a decade in journalism in the US and internationally as an Art Director and Creative Director at the Philadelphia Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and WSJ.com. After leaving journalism in 2004, I opened my own studio in Manhattan where I lived for 20 years, met my husband, and had twins before moving to Princeton, NJ in 2014.

My love for music lead me to another art form; photography. I went from recording studios to photo studios and I haven’t looked back. While working on social media projects for Diddy and meeting celebrities left and right i figured it would be the perfect time to start doing photography. While artist portraits and club photography felt fun, the vanity soon wore off and i wanted to produce images that would be more meaningful. Wedding photography created a happy medium for me.

I tell peoples stories with emotion and creativity on one of the most important days of their lives, and I love it. It's as simple as that. There isn't a single wedding that I photograph where I didn't get the “feels” throughout the day. It’s usually the parent dances that get me choked up, or the little moments before the wedding that very few see.
