This building was built by C. Emlen Urban in 1925 and is the first and only skyscraper built in the Lancaster area, making it a prominent Landmark for decades to come. The building features Beaux Arts and Italian Renaissance Revival styles, making it a timeless centerpiece to a historic Lancaster City. The observation deck area offers exquisite views of Lancaster, making your event a truly unforgettable experience.

Upon entering the venue, formerly known to be the Franklin Savings and Trust Company, your guests will be welcomed to the main event space where no detail goes untouched. The original columns surround the newly installed custom black and white dance floor where your guests will dance the night away. The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is Philadelphia's Library of American History and contains over 21 million historic documents covering every topic imaginable. HSP can create a personalized experience that will thrill and engage your guests! HSP docents can pull historic documents from their enormous collection and display a curated selection of treasures selected specifically for your event. Guests can view and learn about these documents in The Reading Room, which can also host dinners for up to 60 people. Upstairs, the newly renovated Patterson Room can host up to 150 guests for seated receptions.
