I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. His company supplied DJ services for over 200 weddings a year! After my first wedding gig I was hooked. It gave me purpose, and an outlet I never knew was possible. They have been a big part of my life since. I am an alum of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA & toured the country extensively. Wedding receptions have always been my favorite because of the wonderful joyous feeling in the air. I enjoy putting on a great show & exceeding the client's expectations. Harpist Michelle Campbell has enjoyed performing for weddings and special events for over twenty years. She has studied harp performance at prestigious institutes and holds a Masters of Music Degree. She is the resident harpist for the Langham Hotel and is a regular featured soloist at The Four Seasons as well as other luxury hotels throughout Chicago. Michelle also enjoys performing musical theatre, including a critically acclaimed show at the Goodman Theatre, and collaborating with other creative musicians in Chicago. As a freelance soloist she is in high demand for private events.

A co-founder and lead singer of the group, Brooke began the pursuit of her musical and stage career at a very early age. At 18, Brooke moved to New York City where she continued her education in music and theater. She moved to Chicago in 2011 and quickly collaborated with others who shared her love of soul and R&B music to create the familiar soulful, but unique sound of Brooke & The Nice Things.
