Virginia Beach National Golf Course opened in May of 1999 as the premier public golf course in the Tidewater Area. A Pete Dye Design with assistance from PGA Tour Hall of Famer Curtis Strange, VB National is a masterful 7,200-yard blend of natural grasses, beautiful ponds, rolling fairways, and tour-quality greens. The Estate at River Run offers a dream setting to host a variety of elegant affairs. High on a bluff towering over the James River, this exquisite Georgian Revival offers 16,000 square feet of opulence, built by Taylor and Parrish Construction from 1981-1987. This stately Georgian features an upper brick promenade surrounded by a limestone balustrade and opens to a double curved staircase to the lower terrace. The mansion's interior boasts extravagant architectural embellishment. Marble floors, ornamental cornices, plaster friezes, 18-foot columns with gilded Corinthian capitals, and custom crystal chandeliers please the eye from the onset. A Jeffersonian pool house with a hexagonal raised dome presides over a circular pool with bluestone terraces and a limestone balustrade. We instruct your ceremony rehearsal, and on day of your wedding we run the full-service operation from set up to break down so that you can enjoy your special celebration with family and friends. We have a preferred vendor list of amazing photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists and more that we love to work with, however you are not limited to that list and can recruit your own licensed vendors of choice. Many of our Brides and Grooms choose to spend the whole day on property, getting ready in our bridal party lounges.

Ford’s Colony Country Club offers wide open spaces, including indoor and outdoor facilities, for a chic and sophisticated wedding celebration. Couples can host their ceremony outdoors with views of the fairways, manicured hedges, and abundant Virginia trees. Our Outdoor Ceremonies are held on our Blackheath course. Offering a Lakeside or Botanical backdrop for your photos. The Garden Pavilion is the largest of these options with a maximum capacity of 250 guests.
