Lavender Hill

5.0

Jeffersonville, IN

What can I say? We love a great wedding! We love getting to know our couples and finding out their 'thing' that makes them unforgettable. We want their flowers and decor to be as unique and as one of a kind, as they are. We source local and regional seasonal flowers, as well as search for the perfect blooms from afar, as desired. Plain and simple, we get things done, with the goal of always exceeding your expectations. It's our job to make things look effortless and picture perfect, so you can just relax and enjoy your much anticipated day.

Lavender Hill did the florals and rental items for our summer wedding at Huber's Winery. We were able to give them our vision based on a lot of our ideas from Pinterest, and Carolyn and her team went above and beyond to bring it to life. She brought in gorgeous strands of crystals, fabrics, and—of course—florals to decorate the pergola on the property. The transformation was incredible! They also helped inside for the reception with our centerpieces and other unique pieces for the buffet, bar, cake table, and more. Carolyn was able to source linens and other items we needed to take our vision to the next level. I was very impressed with the suggestions from Carolyn on how to make other elements of the reception better—bringing in Comfy Cow ice cream, DJ recommendations, and more. It's clear that Carolyn's experience in the industry is a huge asset to the clients of Lavender Hill. Overall, the value for the level of service we got simply exceeded all of our expectations. Every question we had or every change we had to make prior to the big day was easily communicated. We were provided a very detailed breakdown after our initial consultation and deposit of what we were getting and walking us through the setup process. We would definitely recommend Lavender Hill for your wedding floral and rental needs.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves New Albany, IN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

So I ordered specific flowers that I wanted to match your theme for our wedding and the website was pretty easy to navigate and they have estimates on how much of each you would need which was nice. They came in 3 days before my wedding day and I immediately unboxed them and had buckets of water for them ready. The night before I started making corsages and boutonnières and morning of my bridesmaids helped make all the bouquets. It was a bigger job than I originally thought and glad I had help so I would say maybe have at least 2 other people willing to help ad maybe practice run with supermarket flowers beforehand to help ease the anxiety.

Jennifer did an amazing job with my flowers! So much had changed planning wise for our wedding but I’m so thankful that even amidst all the craziness I’ve got the flowers I dreamed of (Plus I now get to use them twice!). ❤️ My bouquet and the beautiful floral swags for my frame backdrop got so many compliments - everyone was shocked they were wood! Thank you so Jennifer much for taking all of my rambly and scattered thoughts and turning them into something so beautiful.

When looking for a florist I didn’t want to spend 3000 minimum which is what brought me to poppy flowers. The minimum was in my budget, the style quizzes easy, and they were so accommodating when I had to switch set up times last minute! The flowers were also beautiful, and looked fresh and just like I wanted.

      • Starts at $175
      • Serves New Albany, IN

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

      Awarded Best of Zola
They did exactly what I wanted and they look just like real flowers. I actually ordered my bouquet a year in advance and it was still perfect come the wedding day. It makes me happy having it where I can keep it and cherish it forever without worrying about wilting.

I can’t recommend Bloom Culture enough. We scheduled a consultation call with them roughly 3 months before our wedding date. Heather was super kind, helpful and professional. She promptly sent us a proposal that fit our budget and matched exactly what we had discussed during our consultation! The resources they shared with us were super helpful, and 3 days before our wedding the flowers arrived in perfect condition! Even though some of my bridesmaids were nervous about DIYing their bouquets, everyone’s turned out so beautiful and unique!!
