Hi I'm Jackie, and I literally love my job! I’m a New England-based photographer for the last 18 years. I have to admit though, I love taking this one woman show on the road and travel makes me the happiest. I have been lucky enough to shoot destination weddings in England, Iceland, and Alaska. I would describe my photography style as very laid back and natural. The little in between moments make for the best photos, and I’m not about capturing awkward prom poses and forced smiles. Hello and thanks for stopping by! My professional career as a Connecticut wedding photographer started nearly 20 years ago after attending photography school in Vancouver. I returned home to Milford, CT in 2000, started the business, and have been capturing wedding stories ever since!

Shari (a west coast girl) and Jason (an east coast guy) began their photography careers in 2001 after meeting at a small art school in Western Massachusetts. From there, they went on to assist various commercial photographers in New York City where they eventually explored the world of wedding and portrait photography. At that time, wedding photography was especially traditional. Many wedding days were all about staged moments or re-enactments. However, a few studios in Manhattan were beginning to experiment with a more editorial and photo-journalistic approach, which immediately appealed to the young photographers.

I am a Connecticut-based wedding and portrait photographer obsessed with candid moments, real emotion, and the connections between human beings. I strive to capture life as we actually live it: full of beauty and roughness, joy and struggle, extravagance and simplicity. When I photograph you, I’m not thinking about getting likes on social media. I’m thinking about what will make your heart grow three times its size. I’m thinking about what will make you ugly-cry, looking back. I’m thinking about you seeing how awesome and truly loved you are.

Hi, it's Jenni, I am a couples and wedding photographer based in Connecticut. I love hikes and adventures, nature is my natural habitat and my biggest dream is to travel the world. I am hopeless romantic and I will probably shed a tear at every wedding I attend or photograph, so if you see me wipe a tear at your wedding no you didn't lol. I am also a dog mom and I love animals in general, my puppy means the world to me! I am a dedicated, passionate, fun and caring person and I put love in everything I do. At every wedding, I'm constantly alert to the small moments that make a day unique: a father's kiss, an heirloom kerchief, a ring bearer getting licked by the groom's dog. I see beauty everywhere on a wedding day. I spend the entire day smiling. My face usually hurts on my drive home ;)! Although I'm primarily photojournalistic in style, I know how to take charge for posed portraits. I've been a photographer full-time for over ten years, and I can be quick and efficient for group shots, so you can get back to your party! I also love sneaking you two away for some lovely portraits when the light is perfect.
