Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Louisville, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
You can DIY your wedding flowers! Because Flower Moxie makes it so easy and fun to do. Their packages are so beautiful and provide everything you need to make stunning arrangements. I chose the medium and large packages and was amazed by the number of flowers that arrived. The delivery of the flowers and pickup at the airport was so simple (I was worried about it, but it was no trouble at all), and all of the flowers looked fresh. The tutorials were very helpful and my gals and I were able to arrange 20 centerpieces, bouquets, bud vases, boutonnieres, and corsages in under 3 hours. It was so much fun and I was so pleased with the results. I saved a lot of money and was not disappointed in the least.

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Louisville, CO

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Don’t even think about spending thousands on real flowers. These silk flowers were incredible and I LOVED using Something Borrowed Bloom. Everything came in fantastic shape, the process was fairly easy. My only advice would be to make sure you know who will be shipping everything back the next day and to have someone who’s responsible in charge of collecting the boutonnières and bouquets at the end of the night ! The flowers were gorgeous. We rent them for bouquets, boutonnières, garland, cake table decor and used the bridesmaids bouquets as the center pieces. Saved a ton of money and no one could tell they were silk flowers until you said something. Would highly recommend!

I just wanted to reach out finally after our wedding and let you know how in love I was with all our floral decisions! The process was easy, seamless and, with a little help from my friends, a memory maker. I was totally oooo-ing and ahhhhhh-ing opening all the flower boxes after i picked them up! Each box was another wonderful surprise and i was floored with the quality! AND, best part, they lasted for days and being transported in the back of a work van to the Cape for our festivities. I have been highly recommending your business to everyone that asks. I’ve included some of the professional photos in case you wanted to use them on your site, due to file size, I’ll send a second email with additional photos. Again, I’m in love with bloom culture and cannot thank you enough for customized boho beauty your flowers added to our wedding!

Birch & Bramble Floral Co.

5.0

Arvada, CO
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Louisville, CO

Hi there, I’m Brandice and I LOVE flowers! It is my passion to create unique designs that will take your breath away. I love incorporating the unexpected, foraging for the best textures, and combining all that beauty into one heck of a magical botanical creation. I would love to be a part of all the beauty that goes into the most memorable day of your lives. I can’t wait to hear your ideas and help make your wedding unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
We booked Birch and Bramble Floral for our wedding and Brandice was absolutely incredible to work with!!! Personable, easy to work with, and provided florals that were better than we ever could have expected! Pricing is affordable and she was very transparent throughout the whole process with flower pricing so we could still get the flowers/arrangements we were hoping for. Brandice made us bouquets, multiple arrangements, table greenery, bud vases, corsages, and introduced us to pocket square boutonnieres (ask her about them, the groomsmen loved them so much more than traditional boutonnieres!) She created photo albums of each arrangement's intended flowers so that we could get an idea of what the final product would look like and to pick and choose any flowers we loved or didn't love. She also travels, and for such a reasonable price! She brought all our florals up to the mountains on our wedding day and set up arrangements which was very helpful! Not to mention, the amount of compliments the florals got from our guests the day-of, we were just blown away! We truly cannot speak highly enough of Brandice, her floral design skills, and how amazing she was to work with, every meeting with her had me laughing and feeling much less bride-stressed! We would absolutely hire her again and recommend her to everyone!

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Happily Ever Sparkle - Weddings & Events

5.0

Wheat Ridge, CO
  • Serves Louisville, CO

I recently re-branded my business from Sagicorn Productions to Happily Ever Sparkle. I made this change, because Sagicorn first began as a production name for my videography and photography work. Later on, wedding planning and floral design came to me, but I wanted to find a name that represented just that. That's where Happily Ever Sparkle comes in. Happily Ever Sparkle - Wedding & Events reflects me personally, and how I approach my wedding business. Happily Ever Sparkle will appeal to your lust for life and adventures to create your most serious, beautiful moments and events. With a dash of sparkle of course!

Awarded Best of Zola
Brett was absolutely amazing! We did a courthouse wedding and wanted a statement standing flower piece for the courthouse steps, a bouquet for me to hold, and a boutonniere for my husband. She really made our ideas come to life. She talked through flowers and designs with me, shared a Pinterest board with visual inspiration which was so helpful, and worked really hard to make sure the look was perfect. She delivered the flowers on the day and set everything up for us. It truly made the day so special to have such stunning flowers. I would highly recommend her for your special day!

Party pedals flower walls are gorgeous and they are even better than the pictures they have online. I had no issues with the wall and I’m so glad we decided to use this vendor. However, I will say that some of the pricing was unclear and there were some surprise fees due to miscommunication.. I also felt that I was answering the same questions multiple times over multiple emails. All in all, I think this vendor is a good choice.

Acscents Floral

5.0

Thornton, CO
  • Starts at $1,700
  • Serves Louisville, CO

My love for design and flowers started in college when I had the opportunity to work with one of the most talented floral designers I have ever met. After college, our paths crossed again when she was my instructor for floral design school. After a career in marketing, I decided I needed a change. Flowers give me the opportunity to combine my love for design, “accents” for a wedding or event, with the amazing “scents” flowers provide and "Acscents" was born almost 20 years ago. I enjoy spending time with my hubby, dog, friends, family and the mountains and outdoors, enjoying all the beauty that God has given us.

We are so happy we chose Tammy with Acscents Floral to be our florist for our wedding! Everything we asked for was perfectly executed. I just wish I could keep all my flowers forever (thank God for photos!) Tammy helped us figure out what we were looking for in flowers and did an amazing job on every detail. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing about Tammy’s work. If you are considering booking with Acscents this is your sign, you won’t regret it!
