We had our 175-person wedding (on-site ceremony) at Olio in early November, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. The space is STUNNING and everything came together beautifully the day of. So many guests told us how much they loved the venue/how unique it was. How much passion and attention Sarah has poured into Olio is palpable! From our first tour in July 2022 until our wedding day, everyone we interacted with at Olio was extremely professional, responsive, and kind. At no point did I feel like just another client in their lineup. Also, their transparency and modern website was a breath of fresh air after literally chasing other venues down for basic information. I planned our wedding from France, and Olio was very accommodating when I asked to visit during the brief weeks I was in MA leading up to the wedding. It was usually Jenna that was there, who was always warm and welcoming. Besides a gorgeous space and top-notch team, Olio’s location was perfect for us. Main St feels iconically New England (which our international guests appreciated), there is ample parking nearby, and we got some great pictures in the area. We spent 2 nights at the Bell Inn and had our welcome party at Granite Coast Brewery; to have everything on the same street was so convenient! Side note: if you are looking for day-of-coordination services, do yourself a favor and book with Sarah/Without a Hitch (her OG baby) - truly one of the best decisions of our entire wedding experience. I could keep ranting about how much we loved Olio and the phenomenal people behind it, but I’ll end with saying that if you want a gorgeous, transparent, responsive, flexible, unique, and genuinely people-centered venue – Olio is it!

I cannot recommend Long Hill enough as a wedding venue. Not only are the gardens incredibly green and lush, but the crew works with you to make sure you have all your questions answered and execute the wedding that you envision. There are several options for spaces to have your ceremony and cocktail hour, and the tent is perfect for the reception. A special shoutout to Jared and Helena for working through several last minute changes in our plans due to unpredictable weather to ultimately make our night perfect

Everything was taken care of and it was a spectacular event - largely In part due to Allison's amazing efforts. Our day was perfect and if you want to be stress free- book the OV!

From the signing of the contract to the day of, everyone was open and honest with pricing and plans. Our coordinator Jessica was wonderful and able to handle everything. She kept us on our time table and it did not feel rushed or that she was being pushy. She helped make it wonderful. Her assistant new to the position but was quick to pick up things and help where was needed. I could go on, but in the end it just comes down to this, Everyone had a blast and enjoyed it. PS, the food was so good, I dream about it

Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

We had a wonderful wedding at the Nahant Country Club. Yasmene and Heather were great to work with and our wedding ran incredibly smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, our guests had a great time. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we additionally received an off season discount. Their wedding packages include so much beyond the standard wedding packages including the use of the bridal suite, appetizers/champagne in the bridal suite on the wedding day, use of their (beautiful) centerpieces, a separate happy hour for the wedding party during photographs and much more. Yasmene went above and beyond on our wedding day- she even sewed my nephew's superhero mask when it broke. Many of our guests commented on how she was the best wedding coordinator they had ever seen. Overall, we are incredibly happy with our selection of the Nahant Country Club. It is a beautiful venue run by incredibly efficient and kind women!

We had our wedding NYE 2023 and had the absolute pleasure of working with Emily at The Red Barn! She was always available to bounce ideas off of months before the wedding and days before she was my main girl working with all the vendors to make sure set up was seamless! The weekend of our wedding she made me feel so calm and that she had everything handled and under control from the rehearsal to the very last second of our wedding! SHE IS AMAZING! She was so attentive to us and the bridal party all night making sure we had all the snacks and drinks that we needed. Not only was Emily an absolute dream to work with but the entire staff at The Red Barn and The Stage House Inn were so easy and great to work with! Our entire bridal party and immediate family stayed at both The Stage House Inn and The Nealley House which was so convenient and fun to have everybody so close all weekend! Both places were very clean and a beautiful spot for getting ready/bridal party photos! Check-in was easy for all guests and we were able to place welcome bags in all the rooms before guests arrived, which was an added treat. I would recommend these venues over and over again!

During the planning process, my husband and I were looking at a variety of locations for our wedding but unsure what we wanted in a venue - until we visited Granite Rose. We loved how Granite Rose provided a majority of the services we were looking for, and what they did not provide, they recommended excellent vendors. During the entire wedding planning process, they were always responsive via email and phone for any questions we had. All of our meetings with them prior to our wedding day were extremely detail oriented to make sure everything went smoothly. The food tasting gave us an awesome opportunity to try different foods and see how things worked. We were able to have a rehearsal the day before our wedding to see how the ceremony would go as well as drop off all of our decor, so we wouldn’t have to worry about it on the wedding day. When we arrived for our big day, everything was set up and ready to go just as expected from our planning meetings. It was a big weight off our shoulders to know the crew at Granite Rose had everything under control! They were attentive to both of us throughout the day and made sure we, and our guests, had everything we needed. We would highly recommend Granite Rose to anyone that is looking for a rustic, but elegant venue in New Hampshire!

I don't really know where to start talking about our experience at Barn Lights. We held a long-overdue family reunion at Barn Lights and everyone who attended raved all day long about how perfect everything was. We rented the guest cottages for the family seniors who had traveled from afar to attend. It worked out great, allowing them a sanctuary to escape to when they needed a rest while also making it convenient when they were compelled to stay up into the wee hours telling stories. The facility and grounds are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and beautiful. I've been to events at "barn" venues and they're often a bit more "rustic" than is ideal. Barn Lights has all the charm of a barn venue but everything is brand new and state-of-the-art. The staff were helpful, personable, and passionate from the start. They made great suggestions for activities, food, and how to maximize the fun and engagement without things getting too raucous. The food--from the appetizers to the entrees--was innovative, delicious, and beautifully presented. It took a while for the first person to sample the charcuterie table because it looked like art. Once the cork on that was popped there was no hesitation by people to make return trips to make sure they tried everything (I'm lookin' at you, Jeff). We opted for the BBQ given the time of year and the large number of picky teens. It also allowed the kids to eat while they continued to play games on the lawn rather than pinning them down for a sit-down dinner. I could go on, but I'm not sure I'd know where to stop so I'll just end my review here. Cliff's Notes version: Hold your event at Barn Lights. You'll be glad you did.

We selected the Hampshire House for our wedding, because we loved the feeling of celebrating in an old-style mansion. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing were all held in the massive library, and it was gorgeous. They had fully working fireplaces for our cold November wedding, which really set the mood. Probably more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our family and friends are all foodies, and if the food was bad, we would have heard about it until the end of time. Instead, people could not get over how amazing both the cocktail hour food was, but also the dinner hour. While the space was stunning to begin with, one of the main considerations in picking this venue was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs right from the start. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The Director/Coordinator, Michele Giacomozzi was amazing. She was always there to answer any questions we had or offer any help she could. Michele did an outstanding job the day of, left us feeling stress free and allowed us to live in the moment. We had so many compliments afterwards about the food, the beauty of the space, and especially the stunning views of the public gardens. We could not have imagined a more perfect day.

My husband and I got married in March 2023. The entire planning process was amazing. We planned our wedding in 4 months, and with the help of our planner, Sam, we had the absolute best day. We had 180 people. The venue is stunning, the food was delicious. People are still raving about how it was the best wedding they’ve been to. We loved how we could continue the party in the Cave after the reception was over. Having the ceremony on site also made planning and organizing easier. We also got the inn’s rooms reserved for us and our wedding party, family, etc. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Know that if your planner is Sam, you are in good hands. She is so professional and calm, which made planning a wedding in 4 months east. I had a minor hiccup on the wedding day with something spilling on my dress, and Sam was to then rescue! Don’t think twice! The Red Lion Inn is amazing.

Just recently got married here in April 2022. The venue was gorgeous and we had to switch coordinators the day before because ours was sick but they did a phenomenal job! They really took care of me and my husband we never had to wait for a drink they made sure we stayed on our schedule they were wonderful and really thought of everything. I heard from almost everyone it was the best wedding food they have had yet! The only downside was we had a 190 person wedding and the bar was absolutely packed at all times, they ran out of vodka and tequila in the first round of drinks and all of the garnishes soon after. Would definitely recommend doing the per person open bar if you have a remotely drinking crowd. We ended up spending twice what it would have cost us if we did that option because people then had to get grey goose etc when they ran out of everything else.

Is there more than 5 stars? I have endless positive things to say about this venue. First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Inside, my guests were awestruck by the stunning chandelier and clean and crisp modern look while outside, my photographer was able to capture the beautiful fall foliage in her pictures. Second, the food is magnificent. I still receive compliments about the delicious meal (particularly the rolls). Third, the team at Lakeview is incredible. They waited on myself, my groom and our parents hand and foot. From making sure a drink is in our hands at all times to consistently checking in to make sure everything is going according to plan. During the reception, a guest accidentally stepped on and ripped my dress and a Lakeview staff member was by my side instantly and able to fix my dress immediately. I am so grateful for Lakeview and how the team made my wedding experience stress-free and fun-filled.

One of the most important things to us in selecting a venue was that it welcomed dogs and was affordable. Zorvino fit the bill perfectly. Their wedding packages made things so much easier and saved us from having to research and find vendors for our big day. Our wedding planner was wonderful, very communicative and accommodating. The venue even did a great job adjusting to my (the bride) various food allergies. I could not recommend them more highly.

Wandby Landing, Mariah, Matt, and their staff are incredible. They made the entire process of planning our wedding stress-free. Every detail was perfectly organized and executed - hors d'oeuvres, the delicious drinks, an absolutely incredible family-style dinner. All night, and for weeks after, our guests were complementing the delicious food ("by far the best they'd ever had at an event"), and most notably, the friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff. We were able to enjoy our wedding day with all the trust and confidence that their team would carry through a incredible event for us and our guests. We cannot recommend Lake Pearl enough as a wedding venue. From the staff, to the food, everything was perfect! We planned the wedding while living in London; some couples (and venues) would have found this very difficult, but the staff at Lake Pearl were aware of this and were only an email away! They were accommodating and met with us each time we were in Massachusetts for vacation. The staff at Lake Pearl made it very easy and fun during the Rehearsal and the day of the wedding; nothing was too small to ask for! Julianna was amazing and Ashley was an absolute star as the bridal attendant! This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

We held our wedding reception at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, and it was a beautiful venue to host our event. The space was a perfect size for our event with 125 guests, and the ceiling is a showstopper. The building is right on the small city park, Centanni Park, which is such a nice little green space in East Cambridge. The staff was friendly and easy to work with and helped us to create our dream reception. One thing to keep in mind when picking this venue is that you have to select from a list of preferred vendors for catering, and they will need to rent all of the plates, cutlery, glassware, catering supplies etc since the venue does not provide these items. Their list of caterers to choose from is a great list, but the extra cost of these rentals should be remembered when budgeting your event.

We recently got married at Avenir, the Walpole location of the Saphire Event Group, and it was nothing short of a fairy tale. They were the 1st location we toured and it was everything I had always pictured in a wedding venue. Stunning, elegant, modern, Avenir has it all, including the most stunning and massive marble white dancefloor that we spent hours upon hours dancing the night away on. From our first tour to the day after our wedding, they were accommodating to every single request, organized and never missing a beat, and an overall pleasure to work with. To make it helpful I broke down some of the highlights that were the extra cherries on top to us: Staff: our first interaction with Avenir was through Emily, who is on their sales team. She was the sweetest, running through every detail, pricing, and question with us on our first visit, and had no problem accommodating multiple visits with us so that both sets of our parents could see the venue prior to making a decision. We never felt like we were being pushed or sold, and no request or question seemed outlandish; she was such a joy. When we booked with them and got to meet our event coordinator/ producer Sydney, it made me feel so secure in our decision. We sat down and she went through every single detail, wrote it down in front of us, gave us a copy, and was really great at bouncing ideas off of, giving suggestions, and helping guide us, without ever making us feel rushed. There was nothing we wanted that they couldn't make happen, and it was all done with a smile on their faces. Day of, we had rain and bad weather, and she moved things around and adjusted timelines that still got us exactly what we wanted and made sure we had enough time and locations for photos, and dinner, which meant so much to us. We had a guest lose their coat that night and they went above and beyond to make sure that even a week later, that guest was taken care of, while also not putting the work on us as the bride and groom. The entire night they were always attentive and so helpful to all of our guests and us. They overall are some of the most professional and kind event staff I have encountered. Day of management: They have an amazing system of having a coordinator for front of the house, back of the house, and someone that stays with the bride and groom all night so you're never looking for them, or honestly really handling anything. They do a good job of having a meeting two weeks before where you can choose all of your "just in case" people, so your only responsibility is to have the best night ever. It allowed us as the couple but also our parents and special guests to be in the moment and having the most fun. Food: I have been to too many weddings in my life, with many of the same guests having attended mine, and everyone was raving about the food. Dinner was delicious, prompt (we had an accelerated timeline to open the dancefloor that they handled with ease) and hot. No one walked away with an unhappy or an empty stomach (and we can be total food snobs so that's saying something.) They also had a great selection of entrees to offer that made it easy to accommodate any variation of guests and their dietary preferences, all of which you get to taste ahead of time at one of their tastings. Overall, it really was a perfect night and we have the staff at Avenir to thank for that. We can't thank you enough for helping us throw the wedding of our dreams. If you're on the fence, just pick Avenir!

Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Sophie and Kyle are down to earth, caring, and a joy to work with. We planned a wedding for June of 2020 and had to postpone the reception by a year, which was no problem at all. The farm is a truly idyllic setting, and the 5-story newly renovated barn is astoundingly beautiful and fully equipped for multimedia experiences. Everyone who attended our party had a well-deserved blast after sheltering in place for so long. Thank you, Saltonstalls! Best wishes for your new adventures. <3

From the moment we toured Dell-Lea Toutou and her husband swept us off our feet. They take so much pride and pleasure into making sure your day is perfect. First off their venue is STUNNING. They made the day go so smoothly and our guests are RAVING over the food, service and politeness of all the staff. People say “don’t sweat the small issues during your day” well we had NONE! We rented the whole campus and it was perfect to give our guests plenty of spaces to party/eat/relax. The bar is cozy and sexy, the theatre was perfect for the live band, and the garden area outside made the perfect space for conversation in the late summer night. Their cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had, and their kitchen staff was so kind and helpful. Nell, their event manager is incredibly communicative, detail oriented, and just an all around amazing person. She thought of everything to make sure our guests were comfortable and we also got to enjoy ourselves as newlyweds— what else could you ask for?! It was so nice to know that all the details were taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I could not recommend enough this venue!

We loving having our sunning and colorful wedding at your amazing venue! Our guests talked about the views and the food and everyone had a wonderful time! Cambridge Boat Club is a social and rowing club, located on the banks of the Charles River overlooking Eliot Bridge. Originally built in 1909, CBC was picked up in its entirety and rolled upstream to its current location in 1947, to make room for the building of Memorial Drive. Featuring vaulted ceilings and dark exposed beams akin to a ski chalet, and double french doors opening to a full length veranda, CBC offers a unique, rustic setting for any event.

The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!
