Since then he has sharpened his skills and proven himself as a bona fide Open Format DJ that has performed at numerous venues across DC, Maryland, and Virginia (The DMV) logging over 500 wedding receptions, corporate events and private parties in his career.

The Capital Effect are the members of Lloyd Dobler Effect and have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries. These rock n’ rollers have opened for The Goo Goo Dolls, Maroon 5, Kansas, and played sold out shows for packed audiences. They now perform over 75 weddings and private events every year as a full band, duo/trio and jazz events.

Cristian Perez’s quintet (which consists of guitar, bass, drums, flute and bandoneon) is a hybrid group melding elements of a chamber ensemble, a jazz combo, and a world music band. It features some of Cristian’s original compositions and arrangements as well as various cover songs. Kristen is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Harp Performance with a Voice Minor. She has toured nationally with the New Christy Minstrels, and played with such names as Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Victor Borge and Shirley Jones.

Jeff Hayes has been playing the piano in the metropolitan Washington DC area since the 1980s. He has played solo piano at the area’s finest hotels and clubs. Jeff’s repertoire runs the gamut from classical and movie themes to current popular hits. “From Fauré to Fallout Boy” as he likes to say. In addition to his solo work, Jeff is a fine accompanist and works with classical and pop singers and musical theatre groups. Louis Jones is professional, experienced, and a versatile musician whose repertoire embraces different genres including jazz standards, pop ballads, funk/soul, latin, and modern tunes adapted to his unique style. My team of DJs and I truly appreciate it. A little background on who I am and what sets Frederick DJs apart from the rest. Starting as a DJ as a kid, yes, a kid of only 14! I took a huge interest in the entertainment industry. It started a little before then, but that’s when I got into DJing. I fell in love with playing music for others while working at a roller-skating rink. (Wisconsin Sk8 University) I later moved on from the roller rink where I became a DJ assistant for a solo DJ who specialized in weddings. Let’s just day that gave me a whole new love for the job.

We hired the costume designer (also used by the Black Eyed Peas!) to make them look like a million dollars.
