The price likely ended up being the same if not more than working with a local florist. The color palette did not match what I submitted in photos. The ladies that came to the house in ri were incredible!! The flowers were beautiful

Persephone

5.0

Louisville, KY
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Kentucky

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where I began my floral journey at a boutique flower shop in the valley. In 2017, I moved to San Diego, CA, and then to Louisville, KY, in 2021. I have been in the floral industry for about 9 years. I started my business in 2019 as jchristine designs and recently did a rebrand where Persephone was born.

I had a small elopement on a short timeline and Jen made my wedding floral dreams come true. It was so easy to collaborate on the concept, and she shipped my dried bouquet safely and quickly. The florals were so beautiful, both in-person and in my wedding photos. I was even able to repurpose some of the dried flowers for decor around my home.

The Wild Rose

5.0

Richmond, KY
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Kentucky

Hi guys! My name is Cassidy, and I’m the owner of The Wild Rose. I spend my time with my wonderful husband and our three pups, and am a 2022 bride myself! Since I was little, I’ve always known that my future involved something with a creative outlet. Our team focuses on designing the perfect arrangements to elevate your day, as well as providing coordination and planning services to make everything a breeze!

Awarded Best of Zola
The Wild Rose did a fantastic job with my florals and coordination! I worked with Cassidy for florals and Lauren for month of coordination. Cassidy was able to bring my vision of colorful flowers to life within my budget, and Lauren saved us so much stress. Lauren created our timeline, seating chart, and did so much on the wedding day to keep everything going smoothly. When some of the groomsmen’s ties were missing, Lauren drove to multiple stores to find us new ties, and she also went and bought more bourbon for the bar when we ran out. The Wild Rose really helped everything run smoothly and I can’t thank Lauren and Cassidy enough!!

A Little Bit of Green by Lisa LLC

5.0

Cincinnati, OH
  • Starts at $900
  • Serves Kentucky

While learning the art of floral design at a local Cincinnati florist many years ago, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed working on wedding florals! I love the fact that there's nothing but happiness and joy on wedding days. So, for several years, I learned and appreciated different techniques taught to me by my co-workers. As a mom of two though, the time came for me to work from home to accommodate my kids schedules. Fortunately, I was blessed with a few people who gave me a chance on their weddings, and after a few things were figured out, A Little Bit of Green by Lisa was created!

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband, Tyler, and I got married at Ault Park Pavilion on 5/27/23 and we were so lucky to have Lisa as our florist. Lisa was incredible to work with. She was responsive, creative, flexible and easy-going. To save money, I considered using dried flowers for our wedding, but Lisa's prices were so reasonable we decided to go with fresh flowers and honestly, thank goodness we did. Lisa immediately got my style, which was a bit boho and less refined. She created a greenery crown for me that made all of my Greek goddess dreams come true :) She knew our venue well and helped us realize that we did not want an arbor (which would've blocked the view) and instead suggested 2 arrangements on either side of our officients- and they were goreous! We had some specific requests, like a flower crown for our flower girl, a special momento attached to my bridal bouquet and some eucalypus garland on our sweetheart table. We even tossed in a little "The Munroes" wooden sign that she attached to the garland last minute, no questions asked! :) Lisa made multiple stops on our big day to my parents house, where the girls got ready and to our venue. If you are able to book Lisa, you've just hit the jackpot! :)

Maple Leaf Barn

5.0

Blanchester, OH
  • Starts at $700
  • Serves Kentucky

I'm Libby, and my flower farm is tucked away in the (sometimes) sunny fields of Ohio. Mornings start with coffee and a moment with Jesus, while the kids and bees are already working hard. I'm hooked on both flowers and farming, and watching them grow side-by-side is pure magic. I love designing bouquets that burst with color and life, just like the blooms I nurture every season. When you choose my flowers, you're not just decorating, you're getting a slice of our joyful, messy farm life, infused with sunshine, strong coffee, and a whole lotta love.

Maple Leaf Barn was a dream to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very start, Libby’s communication was detailed, quick, and effective, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of her work was abundant, with beautiful and unique floral arrangements that showcased her gifted artistry. My wedding boutique was perfect, and the slap bracelet for the corsages was a brilliant touch that our moms loved. We are so grateful to Maple Leaf Barn for helping make our special day even more beautiful and memorable. I have followed Libby to several markets because her boutiques are all so lovely and so is she. I promise you will be thrilled with your decision if you work with her.

Agape Fields

5.0

Nicholasville, KY
  • Serves Kentucky

Agape Fields is a family farm and we all share a part in it. We are passionate about all things flowers. From growing the tiny seeds, planting and harvesting fresh flowers to designing unique personals or gathering buckets of blooms for our brides. We work hard to provide sought-after, fresh from the garden, heirloom and nontraditional flowers and foliage that are superior in quality and freshness. We are so happy you are considering us as your source for locally grown wedding/event flowers.

I loved working with Julie to plan the florals for my wedding in October 2020. Julie accommodated our budget and ideas so easily that my florals were the most stress-free part of the wedding! Arranging the flowers with my mom and sisters the night before also gave me a true sense of ownership over a wedding that had to constantly change during the pandemic. Sustainability and supporting local businesses was a central value for planning our wedding, and Julie checked all those boxes for us with biodegradable confetti that we used as table decor and I repurposed in Christmas ornaments as gifts. We also dried our floral arrangements! I highly recommend working with Julie and supporting Agape Fields!

Midsummer Floral Design

5.0

Williamstown, KY
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Kentucky

I love working with couples to bring their floral vision to life, curating floral pieces that match your vision and style. Every aspect is considered, from the flowers chosen to the shape and feel of the designs, to capture that feeling you are looking for on your big day.

Rachael really knows what she's doing when it comes to flowers! I had no specific vision in mind and although my wedding was in the Fall, with it being in December I wanted more of a winter theme. All it took was me telling Rachael what flowers I was hoping to incorporate into my bouquets and Rachael did the rest! The bouquets and all of the other floral decor turned out better than anything I could have hoped for. She made sure I didn't forget anything and it all turned out so beautiful, I was seriously amazed at what she was able to do. I will always recommend her for floral needs!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Kentucky

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

Fuhrmann Orchards LLC was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Their communication was quick, fast, and efficient, which was so helpful during the busy planning process. The quality of their work was fabulous - they were detailed, creative, and inquisitive in helping us create the perfect styles and sizes for our centerpieces and arch pieces. The bouquets they designed were simply stunning, with personal touches that made them extra special. We opted to have them provide the labor on the day-of, which was well worth the additional cost as it took the stress off our shoulders. All the flowers lasted beautifully throughout the night, and they even offer preservation services (for an additional charge). Fuhrmann Orchards communicated with us every step of the way, showing us what the flowers would look like put together. They never needed anything outrageous and brought the majority of supplies needed for the day. No question was too much, and they were so personable when it came to the 'reveal' of the bouquet for the bride and the flowers for the bridal party. We cannot recommend Fuhrmann Orchards highly enough! SUPPORT LOCAL PEOPLE 3

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

5.0

Harrisburg, PA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Kentucky

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.
