Kristen Curette Photography

5.0

Baytown, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

Hi! I'm Kristen, a lifestyle + wedding / elopement photographer living in the great state of Texas. Married to a pretty rad guy, @Daemaine & we're proud pawrents to one spunky french bulldog, @Zeus.the.French (yes our dog has his own Instagram) I can't really remember the first time I picked up a camera, but I can't think of a moment in my life without one either.

It was such a joy to work with Kristen Curette Photography. Kristen and her husband beautifully captured our wedding memories, all the while ensuring that we were comfortable and at ease. Communication was exceptional throughout the entire wedding, from the initial planning stages until after the wedding. We loved the quality of Kristen's work, and the keepsake box with USB were gorgeous. Our favorite thing about Kristen and her husband is how easy it felt to work with them. We aren't typically "picture people", but they made us feel quite a bit less awkward and handled our quirks in stride. We highly recommend their services for your photography needs! We loved them!

Reed Gallagher Photography

5.0

Bellaire, TX
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $5,400

Hey there, I'm Reed Gallagher. I built my business from the ground up and photographed my first solo wedding when most of my friends were playing video games and doing what a normal teenager would do. Shot my first solo wedding at the age of 15. Withdraw my admission from my dream college. Instead, go ALL IN on my business. Continue to equip myself through workshops and education. Oh, and empower other photographers to take their business to the next level along the way.

You may know Reed from his incredible work with high school seniors, or maybe because he’s an incredible educator to other photographers and creatives across the country. After working with Reed for my wedding, I can tell you that if you want a day full of magic with timeless photos that let you relive that magic over and over again - hire Reed his team. If you’re skimming through as a bride, here’s the key things to know. 1. Reed and his team are professional, kind, full of personality and incredibly talented. 2. Reed never missed a deadline and always stuck to the timeline he provided us. 3. We received so many stunning photos that I adore and will be hanging all over my house. If you’re looking to know all about what it’s like working with Reed and his team for your wedding, keep reading. My husband and I work in digital media and knew that photography was at the top of our priority list when it came to our wedding day. I had heard of Reed as a photographer educator prior to my getting engaged, but I fell in love with the personality captured in his images in his wedding galleries I had seen, and even though his work with seniors. When it came time to look for wedding photography, I knew that Reed was already at the top of my list. When I reached out, Reed and his team were quick to respond and eager to share a multitude of information and resources from our first interactions. Reed was the first vendor that we hired after securing our venue, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Reed and his team provided resources that guided us through the wedding planning process and laid the groundwork for our other vendors. On the day of, Reed was flexible, patience and full of grace with us, our families, and our guests. Photos are a massive chunk of the day and Reed made sure the process was streamlined, fun, full of sentimental moments, and that all these moments still pointed back to the heart of the day. Even after our wedding, Reed’s team continued to answer questions and take care of us just as well has they had in the pre-wedding process. We received many more sneak peeks than expected less than 24 hours after our day (we were sitting at the airport fawning over every photo!) and delivered our full gallery in their stated timeframe, keeping us updated along the way. Not only did we have incredible photos of my husband and I delivered, but Reed and his team captured so many priceless photos that embody our friends family and the joy they bring to our lives! It was a huge priority to Cooper and I that our people were a big priority in our wedding, and Reed and his team gave us so many sweet photos incorporating our guests that we will always cherish! Every photo documenting our day was absolutely perfect. We could not be more thankful for Reed, his second shooting team, and sweet Cameron who helped us navigate our wedding day, and all that led up to it, so incredibly! I’m sure that we will be looking at our gallery for years to come, finding new favorites and living out each memory captured. P.S. Get the wedding album! They are absolutely STUNNING and 100% worth the price.

So we're married to brothers, right? Not like married to our brothers. Like our husbands are brothers. *sigh* You know what we're trying to say. Anyways. We both just happened to be photographers running our own portrait photography businesses. And in May 2018 one of us called the other and just started the big conversation. "Why don't we work together? Serve couples as a duo and always be able to capture the moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time and the bride walking down the aisle?" It was a simple but brilliant conversation. And we've never looked back.

Our goal is to tell the story of your big day! We want you to look back on these timeless photos for years to come. Our wedding shooting style is photo-journalistic meaning lots of candid photos capturing all of great moments. We love to find all of the emotional moments as well. While we shoot lots of candid throughout the day, a traditional portrait session is still shot after the wedding ceremony as well. We try to work ‘unseen’ capturing live, authentic candid moments. Staying out of your way is an important part of making this happen.
