My business started with decoration my own wedding 5 years ago. Since then I decorated numerous event both in US and Europe. I'm focused on creating modern natural arrangements using a sustainable approach. We are completely foam free, use as many local flowers as possible and constantly looking for more sustainable practices we can bring into our business.

In my floral industry background, my favorite times have always been working with my wedding clients. While I also enjoy creating beautiful gift arrangements, I have always loved bringing together someone's big day and aligning it with their vision. I loved it so much that I decided to build my own event-focused company. I moved to Arizona from Indiana in 2019 after arranging my own wedding florals and falling in love with the craft. I've always had a creative mind and fascination with nature, and floral design perfectly married the two together. Outside of floral design, I enjoy hiking, reading, or spending time with my husband and dogs

Honey Bear Events was born the moment I started to learn and practice floral design. Having worked in the wedding and event planning industry throughout California for over a decade, including San Francisco, San Diego, and Orange County it was my dream to create a company that brings event planning and floral design together under one roof. As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.

A.H.R. florals is the love child of Arturo H. Ramirez, born & raised San Diegan and lifelong creator. Growing up picking massive french hydrangea from his Tita's garden and pretending to walk down the aisle wasn't for nothing. With a background in fashion design and a career in creative direction, Arturo was led to his own venture in floral design. What started as a helping hand for family weddings and parties turned into a passion that led to full floral installations and event design. Arturo takes pride in his ability to create a comfortable, fun environment and makes sure you receive your goods with a smile and a laugh.
