Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

We are filmmakers capturing wedding films. Our style can be described as “documentary” with a lot of influences from high-end cinema and fashion. The wedding day itself has a lot of strong and emotional moments. So instead of staging, we focus on capturing these special moments that cannot be re-created. We always use a discreet approach while filming. Our goal is to be invisible and unobtrusive as possible at all times. We are guests with a camera. Hi! My name is Josh Hale and I am the owner and main videographer/editor of Still Time Media, LLC. I spent 10 years as an investigative photojournalist and was nominated for four Emmys and won two! It all started when of my cousins asked if I would film their wedding. Although it was not easy and I definitely had a lot to learn, I accepted. Years and thousands of hours of video later I am pursuing my dream. Hello, my name is Zachary Sowers and I would love the opportunity to work with you on capturing your project. I love filming weddings, and including my couples in the editing process. I am happy to announce we shoot LGBTQ+ weddings and spaces, and hope to be joining you very soon to capture your wedding day. My beautiful wife and I have been married since 2021 and look forward to inviting baby Athena into the world in January 2023!

Nice to meet you! Christian here, I have lived all my life in the DMV. (For those who don’t know what that is: DC, Maryland & Virginia metropolitan area) I also enjoy traveling abroad whenever I get the chance, always with a camera in hand :) I spend a lot of time with family and at church. I try setting a good example for the youth at my church and helping wherever I can. I have a beautiful wife who I enjoy traveling and eating with :) a beautiful daughter that we cherish with everything we have. Lastly, a Toy Poodle. Roxie is the friendliest little creature to roam the earth.
