We had created a Spotify mix for playing during dinner and cocktail hour which he used and added to based on our conversations, and we gave him full rein outside of that because we didn't know how many people would want to dance and felt sure that he would be able to read the mood of the room/crowd. I could not believe how fun the dancing part of the evening was. It completely surpassed our expectations. Everyone had the best time and all my favorite photos are from the dance floor- it was a dream. He also helped us shorten our first dance song and perfectly orchestrated the entire event. They were able to set up speakers for both sides of the venue, provided mics and helped make the ceremony seamless, the transitions and the toasts a breeze for everyone involved. I really can't sing his praises enough. Plus he just has great taste in music, is a genuinely nice person, and someone I would definitely hire again. For a wedding our size (60 guests) he brought a colleague named Sam and together they helped create the perfect environment for memories we will cherish for a lifetime. “We got married on 10/08/2023 and booked Joey for both live entertainment and DJ. We selected him because he's a beatboxing cellist/DJ which we thought was totally awesome, and he did not disappoint. He was incredible and so much fun to work with! Our vision was pretty quirky; our venue was a funky brewery in an old airplane hangar, our attire was Art Deco-style, we didn't want any tradition "wedding" music, and had a tasteful ode to Batman incorporated into our theme. Joey took our vision and ran with it. He had so many creative ideas and input throughout the whole planning process. Beginning with the ceremony, he played cello versions of non-traditional 80s, pop, and rock songs, which were beautifully interpreted and set the perfect mood for the perfect moment. During "Beer Hour", he shifted to playing the cello while beatboxing and singing to more non-traditional songs. I have to say we were not expecting him to sing, but were pleasantly surprised by his beautiful voice! We and our guests were thoroughly impressed by his talent and charisma. When we transitioned to the reception, Joey switched gears to DJ/MC mode. He and his wife who was assisting him were seriously the life of the party. We requested that our grand entrance song be the Batman Forever theme song, and he came up with a minute-long "movie trailer" intro for us. It was epic and hilarious, and the perfect way to set the tone for the entire evening. Throughout the night, he played both songs we requested as well as other songs that fit our vibe perfectly. We were on the dance floor all night (other than when my husband left when the Niners game started haha). He and his wife were also rocking out with us at the DJ booth. It's easy to see that Joey loves what he does. His passion for music and creativity shines, and we can't thank him enough for making our wedding day "the most fun wedding we've ever been to" according to every single one of our guests. It was the most amazing wedding ever and the best day of our lives. Thank you Joey!!!”

Hi! We're Restless Vocal Band - award-winning, high energy, a cappella from the Greater Seattle Area. We're all the fun of a cover band but with voices only. Our set list spans decades of music, from the 1940's through today, and covers a vast amount of genres: Motown, Doowop, pop, rock, jazz, R&B, rap and even a little country.

“I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I hired Restless Voices for our holiday wedding. I have always loved a capella and when we decided to a smallish (40) person at home wedding, I knew I needed something that would be the right size for the venue while still being uplifting and engaging for the crowd that spanned generations. I reached out to Jordyn when we were all still dealing with COVID and they were so accommodating to my questions, worked with me on pricing, offered and helped me figure out sound for the ceremony, and provided DJ services. They were on time, dressed as promised, super flexible (it rained all day), and just all around nice. EVERYONE loved them and people I've never seen dance got up and shook their groove thang. As a side, the week of the wedding I had a family emergency occur in my immediate family and we were contemplating possibly postponing. When I told Jordyn she was so empathetic and supportive and while I'm thrilled we went forward, I can't say enough about how much her response meant. I continue to get calls from people who attended about who they were and have made at least 2 referrals. I am hopeful to have the pleasure of using them again for future parties!”
