Hi! My name is Valerie! I am a hopeless romantic who wants to be behind the lens of your love story. I fell in love with photography in my high school darkroom. I went on to major in media and communication at University of Washington with a focus on visual arts. I have always been a story teller, a big feeler and obsessed with all things love, so photographing weddings is quite literally living my dream. I have photographed over 130 weddings and have the same passion for them as when I first started. I cannot see myself doing anything else.

While I can take some Instagram-worthy portraits, I spend the majority of my time at weddings capturing all the little moments going on throughout the busy day. Like most children in the late 90's and early 00's, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!
