After I moved to Utah for school, I realized I loved capturing all the wonderful emotions that come with engagements and bridals! Unfortunately I realized I wanted to make this pivot at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, when people started putting off their weddings. Then 2021 happened and I got back on track! I moved around a lot growing up and I can remember not always loving it. But now, truly grateful for how it's shaped me. My husband was the exact opposite. He had a hometown, graduated high school with childhood friends, knowing every street, and watching every change. I think that is part of the reason we were attracted to each other. While dresses and skirts are my go-to wardrobe pieces, I also have an entire drawer and closet shelf dedicated to paint clothes because I like always having a home-improvement project in the works. I'm a classically trained pianist, a designer, a seamstress, and CEO of Team Saville, which consists of my amazing husband Brian, three kids, and a Yorkie-poo. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!
