Built in the late 1800s, the historic Minneapolis Fifth Precinct is now the home of FIVE Event Center. FIVE blends New York inspired contemporary design with rich colors and bold textures to create an unforgettable event! In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Green Acres is an award winning Wedding & Event Venue conveniently located just 15 minutes southwest of Minneapolis. This lovingly restored historic barn is turnkey with all the modern amenities that include heat, air conditioning, handicap accessible elevator, surround sound, AV, wireless microphone, and theatrical lighting inside and out. Rain or shine, we can accommodate an indoor or outdoor ceremony and a seated reception indoors for up to 225 guests all year round. We have a lovely brick patio, outdoor lounge seating, a s'mores cauldron and a four sided fire pit for those perfect Minnesota evenings. Inside the barn, we have two levels: one for your cocktail/social hour and our upper/main level where the party happens! Green Acres is rustic elegance with stunning chandeliers, soaring Gothic Arch roof of aged timbers, and charming decor. Everything is wheelchair accessible because no one should miss out on the fun!

Our Meridian Ballroom is perfect for up to 350 guests and features a spacious foyer area to greet your guests, 15’ ceilings, crystal chandeliers with Edison bulbs and access to a private outdoor terrace. Ideal for smaller weddings up to 175 guests, our Pinnacle Ballroom features plenty of natural light with windows on three sides and an outdoor terrace to continue the fun outside. Plus, our creative culinary team will work with you to design a custom menu that perfectly reflects the soon-to-be-wed couple. We are also pet-friendly and welcome your furry friend to be a part of your big day.

This location can host up to 250 guests for a ceremony and up to 400 for a cocktail reception. -The Lake Minnetonka Ballroom can host up to 500 people!
