I first got into video work as a teenager, shooting skating videos with my friends. I was lucky enough to have a part-time job, and I’d saved up enough money to buy a Canon GL2 – a much sought-after camcorder. I would film my friends and I skating. We ended up purchasing a computer in order to learn video editing, and put together a full skate video after years of stacking footage. I sold that first video to a skate shop in Bakersfield.

After 10 years of shooting I can tell you happily that I still think I somehow got away with having the best job in the world. I adore being able to visually capture the moments of life that make it worth living. Weddings, birth, family, there are concentrated amounts of love in these moments and being able to give someone a way to hold on to that visually is absolutely wonderful.

Our names are Sirley and Wade. Our love story began in a college film class and now we’re using our love of cinematic storytelling to help you tell yours! Our love of movies and cinematography has led us to this point. We filmed our first wedding together in the summer of 2014 and have continued to film weddings ever since. We sealed the deal in April of 2017 and have added not one, but two pets to the mix. We love watching movies, spending time with friends and trying new foods!

We're Will and Ilaria, the creatives behind the camera at 4Karma. WEDDINGS are our LOVE and put our heart and soul into every wedding we’re lucky enough to film. Ilaria started learning and loving film arts since childhood. Originally from Rome, Italy, she has a Masters' degree in Cinema Studies and has worked professionally on world-class documentaries, music videos, and feature films. Will has been a lover of videography for most of his life and since partnering with his wife Ilaria over 6 years ago has been traveling the country capturing special moments together and creating new stories along the way.

I am so fortunate to not only have an amazing family, but amazing clients that feel like family. I am honored to have been chosen to travel from just down the street to around the world to capture life’s most special moments. We look forward to working with you to capture life’s most important memories.

My personal approach for producing a wedding film is to observe with minimal interference or staging, accompanying the newlyweds through their activities in a documentary style. The most striking footage is curated into a montage that encapsulates the spirit and excitement of the day. I pride myself on finding the familiar details that culminate into an up-close, breathtaking glimpse into your story.

We know there is only one take, and we give it our best shot. Each and every client has a different feeling about what to capture for their event and which priorities will make them smile. More than just a video, your special event can last forever! All packages include approximately 1-2 hours in length video consisting of every special element of the event and much more. We can create a seamless live feed option for our guests from afar.

We are a husband and wife wedding videography team in Sacramento, California. We started Sumagang Wedding Films as we were planning our wedding in 2019.
