    Urban Elements Floral Design

    5.0

    Portland, OR

Hi, I’m Ronna! I find inspiration in flowers, color, love, and most of all my family. I’m creative, imaginative, a planner and a doer. I’m going to hug you when I meet you, get excited over wedding talk and more excited when I can make your wedding dreams come true. I also love to create custom graphics, or that special something to help reflect your personal style or brand.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Ronna from Urban Elements was the creative energy I needed as an eager bride! Not only was Ronna incredibly easy to work with, she was fun, upbeat, reliable AND realistic. I learned so many helpful tips that I never would have thought about had she not brought them to my attention. Things like what’s in season and the durability of a flower when sitting long hours in the heat are a couple examples of her fine attention to detail. Her expertise in floral and unique esthetic shined on so many levels. The amount of compliments I got that night on my cascade bouquet and center pieces made my heart happy, especially knowing she helped all my visions come to life. Ronna did not miss a beat the day of our wedding, which was a gift in itself to have one less thing to worry about on such an important day. I would recommend her in a heart beat!

I absolutely could not have had such a perfectly smooth wedding without the wisdom, experience and professionalism of Sadie and Vareus Events. From the very beginning, there was objective and professional advice and suggestions, clear and timely communications, and I knew I was being considered a valuable client, worthy of excellent and thoughtful attention to my every question, need, concern or idea. I had always thought having a wedding planner would be expensive, but it certainly wasn't with Vareus Events. Sadie also did my beautiful flowers, and worked with me and the venue on every detail of our special day, making sure I didn't have to worry about a single thing. I cannot recommend Vareus Events highly enough, and would choose them again in a heartbeat.

I am the owner, and designer of Flowers by Diana. As a young girl following my grandma around her local nursery in Oregon, I began my love and care for flowers. I later began learning wedding and event flower designing by working for another florist. I worked for them for many years until they decided to quit. I Then started my own business and have been creating beautiful, timeless and customized flowers for many weddings and events. I am inspired to create from your personal style, venue and budget. I am meticulous with details to make your event, your vision a beautiful reality.

What a wonderful experience we had working with Diana of Flowers by Diana! Diana captured exactly what I was looking for in my color scheme for our flowers. She was so easy to talk to and offered her expertise and ideas when I wasn't sure which color was right for a ribbon or for a bout. Diana even provided an arbor for our ceremony and vases for our tables which were two details we didn't have to stress over. Diana arranged our bouquets, the garland on our arbor and flowers at the venue beautifully. The flowers she added to the cake enhanced its simple beauty. Flowers By Diana truly helped create our magical night that we will remember forever.

Hi, I'm Christin! Let's create something amazing! I have been a floral designer since 2006, when I got my start as the florist for Albertsons. Now, I am a freelance floral designer with a home studio. I am able to create everyday arrangements, memorial pieces, installations, and wearables, but enjoy weddings and events the most. Letting my creativity flow into large installments, such as arbor pieces, is my favorite thing to do! I mainly serve the Willamette Valley and Portland area but I am willing to travel!

            Awarded Best of Zola
Being an indecisive person, I knew the general look of floral I wanted for my wedding but couldn’t decide on the specifics. I spoke with Christin about my dilemma, invited her to my Pinterest board and when I received my floral I cried with happiness. She took everything I was thinking and created a masterpiece. She is the nicest person to work with and very knowledgeable, I highly recommend her.

Flowers have always been a passion for me. The extra pizzazz and beauty they bring to events and even around my home always brings me joy. Devina was professional and easy to work with, from our first phone conversation to our multiple follow-ups re: all the small details. She listened to my preferences/vision and exceeded my expectations at a more than reasonable price. The bouquets were lovely and the floral/fabric arrangement on our arch was gorgeous. While I did not interact with her on the day of the wedding, she worked with our coordinator and everything was delivered on time. I would highly recommend Devina to anyone looking for a florist in the San Diego area!

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

I am a local, community driven farm focusing on a wide range of sustainable, fresh, fragrant, and beautiful flowers that respect our shared planet by minimizing carbon footprint and environmental impact of imported blooms. By growing locally I’m also able to offer a wider range of flowers to clients because they don’t have to endure the rigors of international travel like being out of water, under stress, rough handling and time to travel across the globe.

Natalie was incredibly helpful and willing to work with any situation. Can’t imagine navigating our big day without her and her advice!

I have worked every aspect of the event planning and floral industry for over a decade. Aa a Bay Area local, I’ve apprenticed with local bakers, caterers, florists, and event coordinators since the age of 16. I’ve always been drawn to work with my hands, work with beautiful materials, and celebrating the opportunity to bring joy into others lives.

Olivia was a pure joy to work with for our wedding! We had to turn our 200 person wedding to a backyard wedding during Covid, and Olivia made the transition so seamless and easy for us! Not only is she professional, but she is the nicest person to work with, and never made my floral ideas feel weird or wrong. On the day of our wedding, Olivia worked tirelessly to make the backyard into the wedding venue of our dreams! I walked outside and immediately started crying because she knew my vision better than I could even put into words when we were planning. Her flowers turned my wedding into a magical space and I will forever be grateful. I could not recommend Olivia enough, and your experience working with her will be nothing less than a pleasure!

When thinking of your flowers, we invite you to look inwards to your unique story and the flowers that have special meaning in your life. The changing of the seasons is what drives our design and inspires us to keep creating anew! We design with your setting in mind, letting you appreciate the nuances of each flower. We are a sister owned and operated florist business in Bend, Oregon! Growing up gardening with our mama and grandma (Mae and June), we learned to love flowers and create beautiful things. We began designing flowers for weddings and events for friends and family several years ago, before starting up Mae & June Flowers in 2022. Your wedding is important to us! The beautiful life ahead of you deserves to be celebrated and ushered in with beautiful flowers. We like to make the process fun and easy for you and are passionate about making your vision come to life, and your wedding an unforgettable experience!

The gals of Mae and June are simply some of the best people you'll ever work with. They love using local flowers, which can be challenging to work with sometimes, but they do their sisterly magic and end up with some truly unique and unbelievably beautiful designs. They're extremely easy to communicate with, and always willing to try new flowers. I've loved working with them, and always look forward to seeing what they come up with using the blooms that our farmers so lovingly tend.

As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.

            Awarded Best of Zola
Far and away one of the best vendors at our wedding. Morgan at Blomstra far exceeded our expectations for florals; her careful thoughtfulness, beautiful creativity, professionalism, communication and efficiency did not go un-noticed! My bridal bouquet was easily one of the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen and I received compliments all day long. We were also OBSESSED with her decor of the ceremony area; everything from the carefully designed arch to the flowers along the aisle. Morgan also helped decorate the inside lodge area for dinner and allowed us to use her candles, votives and vases. Morgan went above and beyond and her skills and creativity truly made our wedding the most beautiful day I could have ever imagined and more. Cannot recommend enough!

Our flowers were so beautiful. She was, not only, able to accommodate my vision of my bridesmaids making their own bouquets, she also added on an altarpiece very last minute. I would recommend her again and again. Literally only ONE complaint, she was late meeting with my family, but I’m absolutely sure that was a one off :)

Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.

I got married in Florida and planned my wedding kind of fast which lead to so many things going wrong in my wedding but the one thing that went absolutely perfect and delivered more than I could've ever asked for was my florist Sophia! She was honestly what kept and brought everything together in the end! I let her do her thing and she was very professional and really has an eye to make her arrangements look like works of art! I honestly wish I could've kept my bouquet forever it was gorgeous and to this day when I show my wedding pictures everyone is amazed at the work she did! After working with her on my wedding day I would definitely recommend Botanical Preserves for your special events! I do not know what I would've done without her I am so grateful for everything she did for me :)

I'm a proud first-gen., Latina & Dallas native who finds joy in every facet of flowers. Growing up, my dad filled my childhood with gardening & my love for flowers sprouted there. In high school, I enrolled in Skyline's High School's floral design program in which my classmates & I learned floral designs basics + the business side of the flower industry. There, I would frequently compete against other high schools & received my Level 1 & 2 certifications by the TSFA. I founded La Fuente de Flores in 2019 & have rebranded as Monarch & Marigold Studio. I'm also a hobby flower grower so quite literally, I'm always surrounded by flowers.

I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.

My flowers were so so so beautiful. Most people didn’t know they were wood. I could not have asked for a more beautiful bouquet! I’m so excited that my bouquet will get to see my bouquet everyday and it will last forever. HIGHLY recommend India!
