I have been baking most of my life and began decorating in 1997. I made my first wedding cake in 2009. I opened Artful Cakery by Julie in 2013. I have also been a bakery manager at a major grocery chain in the southeast. I enjoy designing and decorating many types of cakes and desserts for weddings and other special occasions.

We are a family-owned bakery based in Athens, GA, & serving the greater Northeast GA area. It all started in 2015 when our founder, Joe Nedza, waited in line in New York City for something similar to a Nedza's Waffle for over 2 hours. He finally got to the front and the store had just sold out. However, Joe left with an idea. Why couldn't we bring waffles here to the Classic City and put our own spin on things? So, with an idea and a drive to succeed, Joe built the company from the ground up. He set out not only to create a delicious waffle dessert, but to create a better business built around warmth, love, and kindness. Sugar Hill Cakes LLC is a wedding cake designer based in Sugar Hill, Georgia. It has been part of the wedding industry for more than five years, specializing in custom wedding cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other pastries. Vilma, the baker, began baking at a young age and documented her first cake when she was 10 years old. With more than 30 years of experience in baking cakes, cookies, and pastries, she has presented some of the best custom cakes and specialty baked goods in the state of Georgia. All of their workers are ServSafe certified for handling and food preparations.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Suerence expanded her baking talents to display her Caribbean roots in some of her delicacies such as black cake and Caribbean pastries. A year later Suerence expanded from treats to making pastries and designing wedding cakes. Seeing how people reacted to her flavors and work of art she knew she took the right step in her business. She prides herself in the artwork of her desserts and gourmet layered donuts.
