I have been baking most of my life and began decorating in 1997. I made my first wedding cake in 2009. I opened Artful Cakery by Julie in 2013. I have also been a bakery manager at a major grocery chain in the southeast. I enjoy designing and decorating many types of cakes and desserts for weddings and other special occasions.

Hello! My name is Porsha and I’m the owner of Cake Me Away. I’m a self-taught baker and have been baking since I was in high school. I officially transitioned from a hobby baker to an official business in 2019. Since then I’ve gained many repeat clients through word of mouth about my moist and delicious made from scratch cakes. I’ve created delicious cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special events.

Shannon Turner Cakes, a premier luxury cake design studio, specializes in creating bespoke cakes made with fresh, organic ingredients. Shannon has over two decades of baking and cake design experience, and has received training from some of the best cake designers in the world. We are a mother-daughter duo and we love baking from our hearts to yours. Our name comes from the chocolates we make. We make breakable hearts (and other shapes!) with premium chocolate poured into a heart shaped mold and customized per each customer. The heart is hollow so when we give it to our client they put a gift under the heart and the person who receives it, smashes the heart open to reveal the gift underneath using a mallet we provide. We like to refer to it as a decadent adult piñata. We also specialize in macarons and cups of cake.
