I am a Vashon Island native, former Chicago dweller and currently live with my husband and two wild boys in West Seattle. I have 10 years of experience of planning + managing gatherings for as little as 20 and as many as 500. From intimate benefactor dinners to elegant fundraisers to festive and modern weddings, I have been involved in just about every aspect of an event that you can think of.

Thatch Design & Goods, established in 2015, is a studio floral design company focused on creating natural designs using seasonal and locally grown flowers. Over the years, Thatch has supported and employed many collaborators, allowing them to explore their collective passion for growing, harvesting, experimenting, and arranging botanicals. Thatch Design & Goods sources flowers from farmers that we know by name and that have farming practices that support the health of the environment and have a commitment to care for their staff. We also strive to create minimal waste with our work, to recycle, and to compost.

As the years have gone by in my career, I have had the pleasure of cultivating a long-lasting journey with my clients, no matter where it began. I have joined in at various times, whether it was at the start of a marriage or with a family that had kids. Regardless of when it all started, I love being there every step of the way to preserve the fleeting moments. We can agree that life goes by far too fast and change is inevitable. I have been photographing weddings and elopements since 2010. An adventurous soul through-and-through, you can frequently find me chasing powder on my snowboard, trekking deep into the mountains with a backpack full of camping gear, or paddling out into the surf of the rugged Washington coast with my husband and son. I’m lucky that photography has given me the opportunity to witness one of life’s greatest adventures with so many couples.
