The Evercake concept started as I was ordering flowers online while skimming Pinterest for my toddler's birthday cake. I wanted a beautiful cake that I could add to a cart and have delivered. Why didn't this exist? A few months later, The Evercake was born. We are different in that we are strictly buttercream based (no overworked fondant here). Our recipes are tried and true, slightly less sweet, and with designs aimed to be worthy of your celebrations. We don't have a traditional storefront with overhead to worry about it, which means we don't have to mark up our cakes to account for this.

The New York City Fire Museum is a stunning place both uniquely historic and modern to make your special day a one of a kind experience. During your special event, you and your guests are welcome to visit the two exhibition floors of the Museum and party in the third floor loft. The Museum’s third floor (approximately 3,000 sq.-ft.) contains a large, flexible open space appropriate for all types of events. Our spacious room seats up to 150 people. The unique space features hardwood floors, twelve foot ceilings, exposed brick walls a vast expanse of southern facing windows and equipped kitchen. The third floor is a DIY space, we allow individuals to hire their own caterers/vendors for setup, and cleanup or use one of our preferred caterers/vendors. We require all caterers/clients utilizing the Museum to acquire liability insurance, if you plan on serving alcohol you must hire a caterer who possesses a NYS liquor license.

27 years ago I called myself a photographer for the first time. I was attending photography school in Sweden and participated in my first gallery show. 2 years earlier I was visiting a friend in LA. I had him chase seagulls on the beach while I snapped away, capturing their flight. I remember that moment I decided to become a photographer. For real. I was discouraged by a job coach after high school, intending a photography eduction. “There are no jobs for photographers!” she barked at me. I took her word for it. I remembered reading an article about the same school, ICP. It had felt like a dream that could never happen to me.

Dani Chou is the owner of Petals by Dani, a boutique floral design studio based in New York City. Dani's refined, garden style arrangements organically blend unique textures and colors with a nod to the seasons. Dani's love for flowers and foliage started at an early age. Growing up in Taiwan, she lived in a traditional courtyard home full of longan, papaya, guava, gardenia shrubs and jasmine vines. Hi! My name Shira Seaman and I’m a New York based makeup artist specializing in bridal and event makeup. I first dabbled in makeup back in 5th grade when I was bullied for acne. I thought in order to be pretty I needed to cover up my imperfections… later I learned that was far from the truth, and that makeup was meant for enhancing not concealing. After being a self-taught artist for several years I decided to further my education by attending Make-Up Designory in NYC.
