I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. The Brooklyn Beats is the inaugural event/wedding band founded by music industry veteran, Jon Shiffman. Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers. Lydia Paulos is a Brooklyn-based cellist. She plays regularly for theater productions and cabarets, including Alice By Heart at MCC Theater and various shows at The Green Room 42 and 54 Below; she often collaborates with composers for new works or shows. She has performed as a part of various orchestras and chamber ensembles in New York, most recently as a member of Crosswinds Quartet & the Femmelody Chamber Music Collective.

New York’s Best Little Big Band provides an authentic big band sound with a dynamic three horn section and driving rhythm section. Led my NY music producer and educator, David Fletcher, the band performs at any kind of event. The band can perform with or without one of our guest vocalists.

Hot Jazz of the 20’s consists of two guitars, string bass and jazz violin. It is reminiscent of the hot jazz sound popular in 1902’s Paris. The two most famous artists of this period are violinist Stefan Grapelli and the gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt.

Will is an accomplished musician and conductor. He has performed on numerous cast recordings of broadway musicals including My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, and the 2014 Tony Awards. He conducted the national tour of Miss Saigon, the 2015 Fiddler on the Roof revial, and the revial of my Fair Lady at Lincoln Theater. He maintains a vibrant teaching practice at the Elisabeth Morrow School, the Wilton Music Studios, and School for Strings. He brings his leadership skills and his well developed patience as an teacher to private event performances.

The Ladybugs’ varied repertoire of music is enhanced by the enchanting, dulcet tones of voices and trombones. Alex returned to New York City in 2001 and quickly established himself as an in-demand solo pianist and bandleader. THROUGH THE LINDY HIS LOVE OF EARLY JAZZ GREW, BUT HE LAMENTED THAT THERE WERE SO FEW MUSICAL GROUPS THAT SPECIALIZED AUTHENTIC PERFORMANCE OF HIS FAVORITE KIND OF MUSIC.

This 11-piece band is a bi-lingual and multi-cultural collaboration led by the sensational Erica Ramos – their sound owes much to the classic 60’s and 70’s Boogaloo and Latin Soul of NY’s Barrio, with added original compositions and millennial funk.
