Seth Umbenhauer Wedding Films
Cinematography has given me the creative outlet to tell stories that I always wanted growing up and my couples have given me amazing stories to tell. My main philosophy when it comes to Wedding Filmmaking is that it is not only about creating a video that tells the story of the wedding day, but it’s also about creating a film that tells the story of the couple. My filming style has been described as documentarian and pleasantly discrete. I may stage a few shots from time to time and I will work with the photographer as they are posing you for specific shots, but my films are defined by the fleeting moments in the midst of a very busy day.
I strive to be a filming ninja on your wedding day, meaning you may even forget that I'm there! I specialize in capturing everything naturally while not interrupting your photographer or the flow of the day. Working with me is guaranteed to be an easy and super smooth process!

I would give 1000 stars if I could!
Everyone told us we should get a videographer and we were on the fence but I can attest that this was the best thing we could have done. First, Seth was so incredible to work with from the quote, to the contract signing, to the day of, and then the footage he delivered. Our wedding cinematic film is breathtaking and I am so thankful that I have this beautiful memory for the rest of my life. We had him send us all of the raw footage as well and it came in the most beautiful box with a personalized note, gifts for the new couple, and a personalized wood box to store our wedding flash drive. We had a lot of venue problems that day and Seth was so flexible and professional. Throughout the day we truly forgot he was there and the whole time he was capturing the most special moments for us to be able to view. We walked away from our wedding with not a great feeling due to our venue and then seeing the video that he created, just wow. He used our vows as part of the audio for the video and the toasts from our parents. I just truly cannot say enough good things. If you want to remember your day forever beyond the photos, get a videographer and I cannot recommend anyone more than Seth. Everyone who has seen the wedding video has swooned over it and I am going to cherish this for years to come.
Amazing
Seth was so great to work with! He showed up on time, was so friendly, and worked so hard the whole day. We were shocked at how quickly we got all of our videos and at how truly amazing they were! Seth is so talented and any couple would be lucky to have him shoot their special day! We cannot recommend him enough!
Wonderful videographer!
Seth was wonderful to work with! We wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding, but it was a stretch goal for us. We were a little worried about it being worth pushing our budget, but Seth made it absolutely worth it. He is very laidback and kind, which was great both during planning and on our wedding day. We didn’t want anything intrusive (limited posed shots, nothing too staged, etc) and Seth worked with out photographer so we didn’t have to spend too much time away from our reception. When we got all of our video back, we were amazed! Not only did we enjoy getting to watch our ceremony and speeches again, but we absolutely loved the wedding film he created. It really captured us and brought back wonderful memories. It’s been so fun to rewatch on our own and to share with family. We really couldn’t recommend Seth enough!
Best Videographer!
Seth perfectly captured the amount of love and fun that was on our wedding day! We both loved/appreciated that you never even knew he was there at times, but was capturing every single moment. Once we saw some of the raw footage we asked Seth to add/edit in a few little things to our video that we loved about our day and he did it so quickly! He even sent the cutest wooden box with our names and wedding date carved onto it which held the flash drive with the videos and raw footage that he mailed - what a special touch! Thank you so much for everything Seth!
