Better than we could have ever imagined
Venue at the Grove made our wedding nothing short of perfect. So organized and was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. Will recommend to anyone getting married looking for the perfect venue!
Gorgeous Venue and Amazing Staff
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It is covered in trees and grass and everything is very lush and well maintained. Even in early May when high's are nearing 100, the shade from the trees and the grass heatsink allows for a extremely pleasant outdoor wedding. The brick and stringlights add to occasion and the overall layout is well thought-out and allows the event to flow seemlessly. The staff are top notch and always willing and able to go the extra mile to help out and get any answers along the planning process. From the catering director to the chef to the servers to the coordinator, everyone made the process all the more enjoyable and with minimal stress. Everyone was very easy to work with and always available - emails and calls were always answered within a day if not much much sooner. The in-house catering was fantastic as well, including the bartender. Our wedding went perfectly and there really isn't anything critical to say about any part of it. I would only note that the prices are significant, not just up front for the venue packages but also for any kinds of "upgrades" you may want (i.e. seat cushions, love seat, etc).
Let the Magic Begin!
I am the Mother of the Bride. We looked at about 6 venues before we chose Venue at the Grove. There was no doubt in our mind when we arrived. . .this charming, lush, and delightful escape from the Phoenix desert was the place where the magic would happen! An all-inclusive wedding location was highly important to us. By having a list of preferred vendors, you knew that you could trust the service and products they supplied. Let me tell you, they exceeded our every expectation. We had a couple of meetings with Alyssa and Stephanie well in advance of the wedding. Just about every detail you can think of, and more, was identified and planned out well in advance. The tracking system they use is highly organized and user friendly. Friends and family were checking in to see how things were going. We were not highly stressed like many mother/daughter duos, as the staff at the venue made the planning process easy and simple. There were a number of times we called and had additional questions. Each and every time, they answered them with a smile. They truly care. At the end of the day, everything we did during those months of planning was magically executed. All our friends and family had so much fun, and said it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies and receptions they ever attended. That was great, but what really made me joyful and brought tears to my eyes, was when my daughter looked at me that night and said, “I love you Mama, this wedding is just perfect!” A huge shout out to Alyssa, our wedding day director, and her team of warriors for making this the best day of our lives!
Venue at the Grove is AMAZING!
Communication: The staff is extremely communicative, and they answered our every random question down to the very last-minute, small details. Specifically, Stephanie and Alyssa are OUTSTANDING. They both deserve raises for being so kind and generous with their time, answering all of our questions, and on the day, taking excellent care of our guests. And, our wedding day was flawless as a result. They knocked it out of the park. Attention to Detail: We are planners, so we may have gone overboard with planning, but we really didn’t have to do a thing on our wedding day other than show up and get married. The biggest and smallest details were catered to in equal amounts — no item was too small to be paid attention to. We went through numerous changes to our dining setup at the last minute due to faulty rentals on our end, and you truly wouldn’t have noticed. Venue Scenery: The grounds were so well-manicured, and we had numerous guests tell us “this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.” Granted, our florist did an outstanding job as well, but to find a lust, green forest-like venue in Arizona is almost unheard of. The facility is extremely clean and so well-maintained that it really felt like an oasis in the desert. Quality of Service: The entire staff was so attentive towards our guests, and they were truly fantastic. Not that we had any doubts, but we approached some of our guests who had dietary restrictions just to ensure that they were taken care of, and they spoke very highly of the service they received. Even down to stowing a secret bottle of booze at the bar with a codeword so that it wouldn’t get used up right away — their staff was amazing.
