About this venue

Located in the Nations Neighborhood of Nashville, we offer two venues in one space: Nicky's Coal Fired, which can host up to 150, and The Maxwell Room, which can host up to 100. When you host your event with us, pricing is all inclusive. That means every dollar spent will go towards your event- no booking fee, room charge, or empty expenses. Both of our spaces feature original hardwood floors, warehouse style windows, and exposed brick, creating a beautiful raw aesthetic.

Our new events space, The Maxwell Room, is a completely private space adjacent to Nicky’s Coal Fired.

This room accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated dinner or up to 100 for a cocktail party style event with buffet/passed dinner.

A Perfect Spot for a Wedding

We had nothing but compliments from guests about the space, the food, and the service. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful, the food was incredible, and the space was the perfect size for our 80 person wedding. The value for what we spent was absolutely worth it, and we're so thrilled we chose Nicky's. It was an absolutely perfect day, and I can't recommend them enough!

For all events, we provide plates, flatware, glassware, furniture & full staffing. We provide in house AV equipment free of charge, including projector & screen for slideshows or presentations, televisions with casting devices, and speaker & microphone.

Luncheon events can start as early as 10:00 am and go as late as 3:30pm. Dinnertime events can usually start as early as 3:00pm. Our liquor license requires us to stop service at midnight, so last call will be at 11:30.

Absolutely! For evening events, you can typically get in as early as 9:00am on the day of your event to decorate however you like. If you have simple decorations, such as tea lights, scattered vases, etc. that you would like to drop off, our team is happy to assist with putting things out.

No way! We offer a full service experience. We ask that you take anything with you that you want to keep- flowers, candles, etc., but we will take care of all clean up for you. We are usually happy to store items at the end of your event for you to pick up later, just ask!

No. We require you to meet the food & beverage minimum for your space, but other than that the space is yours for the duration of service.

Nope! We have great references for florists, rental companies, planners, musicians & DJs, but you are welcome to us anyone you like.

We will only charge for food, beverage, sales tax & a service charge for our staff (23%). That's it! No room charge, booking fees, or any hidden expenses.
