Thyme & Details offers wedding and event planning and design. We are based in Ohio, USA but available for travel. The owner, Dana, has been in the industry for over 10 years and is involved in coordinating all of our events. We serve everyone regardless of whom you love, whatever your age, whatever your race! As long as you are excited for your event, respectful, and want to work with us, we are your people!

Our niche is planning sustainable weddings. We keep sustainability (people/profit/planet) in mind every step of the planning process. We focus on helping you decide what you actually need/saving you money, reducing waste, supporting local businesses, planting trees, and more!

One of the major reasons I decided to hire a wedding planner was based on the fact that I wanted me, my spouse, and our families to fully enjoy the day without stressing about the details. I am so lucky to have had Thyme & Details because not only did that happen, but they went above and beyond my expectations in helping plan, organize, and execute the day of my dreams :) I ended up hiring them later in the planning process and was at a point of feeling overwhelmed with decision fatigue and details. As soon as I met with Dana, I felt this sense of relief which ended up helping me enjoy the rest of planning! Dana and Tara are personable, dedicated, genuine, and experts in their field. The two of them not only helped me explore creative options but also provided so much encouragement along the way. I felt so much support from the two of them and could go on and on about how the two of them are truly such good people who are in this business for the right reasons. They are talented and passionate about what they do and it shows through every interaction with them. Tara was the primary coordinator day of the wedding and she absolutely killed it!! I was able to feel so much peace during the day knowing I had her to count on. Looking back, I don't think I could have done it without Dana and Tara. I am so thankful and highly recommend Thyme & Details if you are thinking about a wedding planner :)

Dana was incredible in every way possible. She was attentive, detailed and wonderful to work with. We are not the greatest at planning and had been putting off our wedding for several years due to anxiety and job stresses. She was extremely personable and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. She helped accommodate our busy schedules and organize all the different vendors. As for the actual wedding, her design ideas, creativity and execution were phenomenal. We are a Chinese-Italian couple and all we had to do was give her ideas and she created an incredible hybrid wedding design, ceremony and reception that was respectful and true to both of our cultures. We will cherish this day forever and it is because of Dana. On top of this all she is just simply a good person. We wish her the best in her business. There are no words to describe how much we enjoyed working with Dana for our wedding. She made our wedding planning experience the most fun, enjoyable and stress-free adventure. From our first introductory call, we could tell that Dana is an extremely capable individual who can understand wedding visions and make them happen. And she definitely delivered. She was present throughout the wedding process assisting with vendor booking, reviewing contracts, sitting in vendor meetings and discussing details of the wedding design. She would always give her advice in a professional way and explain all options to us. Closer to the wedding, she took care of all the details and was always a step ahead preventing issues and fixing problems before they even arose. And finally, on the wedding day, Dana and her team made our wedding dream come alive! The whole day was perfect, everything ran smoothly and the wedding design was exactly what we wanted! Above all else, Dana is an honest, intelligent, kind, creative and hard-working professional who strives for perfection and pays attention to every single detail.
