From the same hometown to Brooklyn, NY, we cannot be more thankful for Natalie and the Gthr team for guiding and supporting us throughout the final months of the wedding planning process! Evidently, this was our first time going through this experience and had a mix of bumps along the way. Natalie couldn’t have come at a more perfect time to help alleviate any and all the stress, especially on the actual day! The weather in NYC was sunny with not a cloud in the sky up until the morning of the wedding. Natalie, the sweet genius she is, proposed a plan to make the entire ceremony and reception happen indoors! The rest of the evening was such smooth sailing and just wonderful! We were fortunate enough to meet Joey at a bridal show last year in Laguna Hills. We almost skipped the show because it was getting late and they were going to close up within an hour of our arrival. When we arrived we breezed past several kiosks, however, Chasing Joy Creations caught the eyes of me and my bride-to-be. Joey's work was captivating and unique. Her decor steps outside of the "cookie-cutter" styles that can be found just about everywhere. And behind all the wonderful art there was an eager, smiling, and warmhearted artist. Joey greeted us genuinely and with superior customer service. We provided her with our information and looked further into the creations on her website. Within a couple weeks Joey was welcomed into our home where she provided a free consultation and an opportunity for to know us better to capture the style for our upcoming wedding. She was making efforts to understand us and things that we like to interpret how she would design our wedding and decor. She was extremely professional, and both my wife and I were undeniably impressed. Later on Joey invited us to her home and turned her living room into a showroom for us. We had no idea what to expect, but she nailed it. Everything was so perfect and beautiful. She had laid out her ideas for centerpieces, sweetheart table, and several other items. We wanted them all! And in that time we got to know Joey better. We officially hired Joey and felt that her talents went beyond her unique ability decor. After some consideration, my wife and I asked if she could be our 'day-of' wedding coordinator. Joey happily accepted and went straight to work. Joey went above and beyond being the 'day-of' coordinator and showed incredible dedication to our big day. We did not expect anyone to put in as much effort and care, but she did. She took away so much anxiety from us, even though everything she did was not required. In the process we gained a friend. Fast forward to the wedding day. Upon arriving at the venue you could see the hard work she had put in and captured every detail for our event. Everything was perfect, it was even better than what we could have imagined. Throughout the wedding and reception, Joey was a constant help and made every effort to ensure our day was special. She clearly did not disappoint. Every guest complimented her work. During the reception, all of our guests had the opportunity to meet Joey as she was making sure everyone was having a good time. Everyone loved her. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and Joey was a major contributor to all of it. She is dedicated, hardworking, and works with her heart. Joey is hands-down a gifted decorator and an amazing person. We will gladly have her again for any future event. And we are so happy that we made it to that bridal show and met a beloved friend and talented individual.

She helped us to discover what would be perfect for us, and our friends and family loved it too! The next day, we had a reception with over 100 guests. Literally every aspect of the weekend ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the beauty and organization of the reception, and still talk about how it was such an incredible day. Some say it was their favorite wedding ever!!! We owe it all to Ryann. Thanks to her, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our wedding day without worrying about a single thing. It truly was an incredible weekend. In the recent weeks following my wedding, friends and family have been inquiring about the big day, notably interested to hear about any events gone awry/disaster stories that took place. To their dismay, I have been able to confidentially respond, “Actually, everything went exactly according to plan and it felt like a pretty chill day!” This is because of Lynette Palacios. My mom and I planned my wedding together for 9 months and brought on Lynette at the 6-weeks-out-mark to be our coordinator. From the moment she joined the team, Lynette was prompt, organized, enthusiastic, and detail oriented. She graciously offloaded our work in the weeks leading up to the wedding so that my family and I could truly enjoy the celebrations without worrying about any logistics. On wedding day, Lynette handled it all: vendor arrival and setup, timeline management, table settings, chair arrangement, guest greeting— all while constantly ensuring that the groom and I had a cocktail in our hands and all other needs met. She knew our grandparents’ names and even held our grand entrance 5 minutes when she noticed that the groom’s grandmother was in the restroom. She had eyes on it all. After searching the internet for planners that had done weddings at our venue we came across Positively Charming Weddings. Working with Yu and Us (founder Jane Yu) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We hired her as a month of coordinator. She was wonderful and on top of it all. Even though she was based in LA and we were in NYC, it wasn’t an issue. She was communicative and easy to get in touch with. Also, even though we hired her months before our wedding, she kept in touch throughout- checking in, giving pointers, acting as a voice of reason. As we neared our wedding (3 months), Jane reached out with useful checklists and timeline templates for us to fill out / be familiar with. She also helped provide last minute wedding contacts when we needed it (e.g. HMU, transportation). She provided much needed advice and suggestions along the way, which we welcomed given her years of experience planning events in NY. On our wedding day, Jane was a beacon of calm as we went from a noon tea ceremony, to first look, then catholic church wedding and finally our rooftop reception, with two full outfit changes along the way. Even during the reception, we had a lion dance, full band, and table to table ganbei’s, and Jane was with us every step of the way. Only thing I wished I did differently was to have her for more hours during our wedding! She was wonderful and I would recommend her to other brides, whether for the month of services or even day of.

Trang was a godsend for us for our wedding. We had our wedding in DTLA at the Millwick. We had about 100 guest. We got her for our Day of Coordinator, and the day went very smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything because Trang handled it all. It took a lot of stress off us. We booked her for our day of Coordinator but I felt she was there all along helping guide us and giving us pointers. Trang really went above and beyond. The week leading up to the wedding I was very stressed. She helped put our seating chart unto a template for a projector screen which the venue provided. This helped alleviate some of the stress and we really appreciated it. We highly recommend booking with Trang. Not only was she efficient, she was easy to work with and gave us great tips. Our original wedding photog ghosted us and we had NO MEMORIES from our day. Jesse graciously helped us recreate all those memories. We worked with Miranda for almost 2 years for our wedding. What an absolute dream it was to work with, and get to know, Miranda!! She provided expert guidance as we planned our wedding at Scripps which involved many moving parts and bringing in all of our vendors. All of her vendor recommendations were ON POINT and she understood our vision from day 1. She made wedding planning so fun and, as a bride, I NEVER felt overwhelmed or stressed because Miranda was always 5 steps ahead - is she a mind reader? Maybe! Miranda was available everyday and always 1 text away. Her expertise came in especially during the last month of planning. She took control of everything and coordinated our vendors efficiently. She will go above and beyond for her couples and she always has such a wonderful attitude. She is a problem solver. Whenever an issue came up (like the pouring rain, or flipping 100 chairs, or the groom forgetting his vows lol), she handled it. Miranda is also extremely attentive. We had 1 guest with epilepsy and she worked with the guest and dj during reception to make sure our guest was okay when lights and lasers came on… I can go on and on. Bottom line is that you just have to work with her to know how excellent she is. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat and my husband and I MISS WORKING WITH HER!! Love love love Miranda!

Teyanna was absolutely everything and more! I hired her for day of coordination, decor and florals. She exceeded my expectations. We had a South Asian Muslim wedding. She took the time to listen and understand my culture, wishes and vision. She was extremely realistic and reminded me of my budget and what I could do vs not do. I’m a project manager and extremely Type A. It’s hard to impress me, but she was not only able to impress me but was a step ahead. I work with a lot of coordinators (I've shot around 1000 weddings), and they are not always super friendly and accommodating with the other vendors, but she has been great at the weddings I’ve worked with her at. On the wedding day she arrives early and is always on top of everything all day long, tirelessly. I always arrive about 2 hours prior to my start time on the wedding day to scout the location for photography angles, lighting and so forth, and eat lunch, and Stephanie is always there super early as well. There are a lot of moving parts during a wedding, and they all need to stay on track or everything can get derailed, and she is always on top of it all. I have worked in event planning for a few years now. For weddings in particular, I have always worked on the vendor management side of things. When my vendors constantly asked why I wasn't a coordinator myself, I realized that I hadn't even considered it.

I hired B two months before our wedding to help not only narrow down logistics but also be the Day Of Coordinator. In my experience, If you’re very picky, hands on, and hate delegating, full service might be more than you need. I was glad that she was okay with being hired only two months before and that she just dove right in. She noticed hiccups that I hadn’t thought about and gave me a list of so many questions to avoid issues on the ay of. I am so grateful that I was able to find someone so inexpensive who’s just doing this because they love love. Who does that these days? My family was definitely ranting and raving about her because she took the time to get to know people’s names and called them by their names. She made sure that not only we were good but that our parents and grandparents were good as well. She helped us save some money on venue related things and certain vendors. Honestly, I would have paid her WAY more for everything she did. I tipped very generously because in those last few months before a wedding Is truly where the larger stressors start to take a toll. I know that people may be hesitant to book before of the price point but I guess I thought of it as, because I am paying nothing that I have nothing to lose. She is a diamond in the rough—I’m telling you. I’m literally in tears as I type this because my day was so tricking amazing!!! THANK YOU!!!!

We aren't design experts and just had a general idea of what we liked. Also owing to our busy schedules which left us little time to participate in the design process, we let Natalie run freely with the concepts she came up with and would tell any other couple to do the same! You won't regret it! I might be something of a designer's nightmare: a bride who doesn't always know what she wants and doesn't have time to plan anything but has high standards about whatever it is. I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. So I want to thank Natalie for always treating it like it was OUR wedding and not just mine because it meant a lot to my husband.

Congratulations! You’ve just found the best coordinator ever! My husband and I knew we wanted a “day of coordinator” (so we thought it was called) but did not know exactly how much to prioritize or what to ask for. And then we pretty much stumbled upon Emily after posting in a local facebook group about needing a coordinator and we are so grateful we did. We’ve actually joked to one another that our only wedding regret is not having hired Emily to plan the whole thing. Emily is professional, personable, and an incredible problem-solver. Emily does coordination, which means she actually jumps on board a couple months in advance to get you organized and get all of the vendors together. However, it would be a mistake to say she only gets involved at that point—from the moment we chose Emily, she checked in consistently, asked how she could help, and gave us leads as we navigated picking vendors. When we hit the 8 week mark before the wedding, Emily began initiating more meetings and gathering all of the information she needed. We did a venue walk through and a meeting dedicated to decor. This is all to say—Emily has got your back. Additionally, she is always working behind the scenes to make sure everyone is on the same page. Leading up to the wedding, we had been very organized, but of course, in the week or so before the wedding, it felt like total chaos. We added people to our hair/makeup schedule. We had to add a last-minute vendor that totally changed the flow of our set-up. Suddenly three days before the wedding, the forecast called for rain. Emily took this all in stride. She reassured us that our feelings about anything were valid and then promised she would figure out whatever we wanted to have happen. She always had multiple solution-options for every moment of chaos we felt. And then once we had decided what we wanted, she made it happen! On the day of the wedding, I was completely worry-free because I knew Emily had everything under control. Apparently a few things went wrong that neither my husband nor I knew about until later because Emily just handled it (she did check in about one thing that had been important to us, but when she asked about it, she came with multiple solution options for me to pick from). She also goes above and beyond to make anything right if there is a need to do so (all wedding have things go wrong!). All-in-all, you want a coordinator who is on top of things, but you also want one that you want to spend your day with and Emily strikes that balance perfectly. We were actually sad when our wedding ended and we realized we wouldn’t be chatting with her as regularly!

Dolores was phenonemal! We had an outdoor wedding reception, and the venue only supplied the tables. Dolores and her crew did an outstanding job in setting up our guest tables, favor tables, cake table, gift table, candy table, and sign in Jenga table. We also had additional favors such as fans, heal savers, dancing shoes (flip flops), pashminas, and she set everything out just as we had envisioned it. If something went wrong, we had the confidence in her to make a decision to fix it, and she did. As weddings go, not everything goes as planned. It was a windy day, and our tall floral centerpieces were tipping over. She sent one of her team to go buy decorative rocks to hopefully stabilize the arrangements, but that didn't work. She then made a decision and rearranged the floral set up and it turned out beautifully. She did an exceptional job in coordinating with the other vendors, and our wedding reception turned out just as we dreamed of thanks to Dolores and her team. She's very easy to work with, she's fun, diligent in her work and when we have another big event, we are definitely hiring her again.
