My name is Katie and I am The Hoppy Wife. THW was born out of a love for all things weddings and meticulous attention to all the little details. I am a Vermont based Wedding Planner and have a degree in Hospitality Management and Events Management. I have over 10 years of industry experience and have developed a strong passion for planning, refined designs, creating beautiful spaces, and making visions come to life. I live with my husband and our dog in VT but grew up in MA. I am a crazy plant lady & flower lover! I love adventuring in all the seasons.

I have been in the hospitality business for over 16 years. I knew 2 years in that I wanted to focus on events and making memorable experiences for people. Over half of my hospitality career has been focused on catering and events. I truly love making connections with people and seeing their vision come to life with my help. My end goal was always to have my own business as I am truly passionate about events and absolutely love what I do.

We have planned all different events ranging from birthdays, to showers, to reunions, to weddings, to holiday parties, and more. When you Hire Tara Pollio Event Design, you will work directly with Tara, Founder and Lead designer. We limit our events to 8 a year so we can focus our full attention to each client. Whether you hire us for Floral and Design OR Full Planning & Management, you are our priority. We now offer hourly consulting for those who need guidance getting their event off the ground. We will share our resources, save you time and direct you to the perfect partners for your budget and style.
