I founded Trevino Entertainment, LLC in 2007 after graduating from high school in Salem, Oregon. I went to a small school, and I DJ'd many of my school's dances and events while a student. I love music - all types, genres, and eras - so it was something that came naturally. My focus has always been on the music. Our approach to your wedding is 50% event execution and 50% dance party. The dance party is very important and fun, but keeping the flow, programming, working with all of the other vendors, and communication with you leading up to the dancing, is what separates our service apart.

John Ross Music and Production got its start in 2004. The simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and in 2010 the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized the musician/DJs at John Ross Music and Production as the “Best Ceremony Musicians” in the state in 2013. The company won that same award again in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019, also adding the “Best Reception Band” honor to its list of achievements. As of 2020 the company employs 10 different musician/DJs as well as a full time office manager to serve its clients.

I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold. One amazing part of the job is knowing that you are part of a couple’s most memorable day of their life—and assuming it goes well, they will remember you for it for the rest of their life. The other part is that I get to run a business and listen to music—two of my deepest passions. So running a DJ company mashes it all together in one great package.
