The Susie Hansen Latin Band is a popular and well-known Southern California band playing 100 to 150 weddings, special events, concerts and festivals every year. Our specialty is Latin dance music - salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata, bolero, and cha cha cha.  If you'd like popular music, we can also play disco, swing, R&B, funk, Motown, classic rock and jazz standards like Frank Sinatra. In 2017, Krista was invited to perform for the VIP opening reception of Museum Barberini located in Potsdam, Germany. In my early 20's I transitioned to DJ-ing at various clubs & lounges throughout the Chicagoland area. (Where I grew up and lived till 2019) Some of them include Dragonfly, Bella Lounge, Republic, Wet, Waterhouse, and Rebel in Wrigleyville. I have focused primarily on weddings since 2009. My open format mixing style is very diverse, so I am able to blend all genres of music together! I live in Temecula with my wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs. I have a love for basketball, wine, long walks, and vacuuming around the house. =)
